I don't see him often but he seems like a pretty cool guy

The times I have spoken with him or have seen him speak (at holiday luncheons etc) I would say yes. He and his wife do a LOT of charity work/donations as well.
PS-Just because we share the same birthdate doesn't mean anything!

Yes, in fact he is why I'm at my company and why I will almost certainly stay for as long as he does (he's set to retire at the end of 2014). He is one of the finest men I know. I report to his COO, so I interact with him a lot (multiple times a day) and I have never seen him treat anybody with anything other than great respect and dignity. He is brilliant and charming, and while not falsely modest, he is anything but conceited or self-centered.

At my past employer, I had a similar level of access to the CEO, and while he was always very "nice" to me, the way he treated the junior and "powerless" employees disgusted me and is the reason I jumped so quickly when recruited to my current employer.

My big boss is the superintendent and yes I like him. He's the third one I've had in my district and he's the most personable and involved superintendent we've had.

I have never met the big boss, never even spoken to him.
He seems nice, he sends me a xmas gift each year, and writes little notes on my pay stub

Our CEO seems like a great woman. But I don't really know her, it could be a facade for all I know. But the persona she puts out there is intelligent, warm, and caring (important for the type of company we are) and I have a positive impression of her.
