Do you like sour apple martinis?

If so, bartender's has a new sour apple martini mix that is really good! I love appletinis but have never been able to make them at home - they just don't tase right to me. I saw this mix (it is a powder) at the grocery store the other day and decided to give it a try because I like their margarita mix (although it's hard to find). I'm having one right now and it's very good! Cheers!

I just discovered this great martini, a watermelon martini, with vodka and Watermelon Pucker. The reason I'm mentioning this is that I've heard they make a Sour Apple Pucker as well. The Pucker is actually a type of schnapps, very flavorful. Maybe they are using this in the sour apple martini? I find my Watermelon Pucker at the grocery store in the liquor section. I am wondering if they are using the Sour Apple Pucker for the mix in?

Love them, especially when the glass is rimmed with cinnamon sugar. Tastes like a caramel apple martini then. YUM

There are so many types of martinis now and they are so varied. They can be made with gin or vodka and usually have a splash of vermouth in them. Vodka is a pretty neutral and tasteless (I think) spirit on its own. The nice thing is when you mix vodka with yummy things like orange juice, or flavored schnapps or kahlua, and it is very palatable. There are so many things you can mix it with to make it taste good, if you don't like the straight taste of alcohol. It depends on if you like salty things - like a Bloody Mary or sweeter things like all these sweet Martini concoctions, a Cosmopolitan, etc. If you have a bar that you like, tell the bartender you'd like to try a martini, but you don't like the strong taste of alcohol and he or she can probably suggest something that would suit you.
