Hi , I am getting excited and I know Orlando holidays aren't all about shopping but every woman loves to shop ! Just wondered what your favourite holiday purchase has been . I love everything from clothes to fridge magnets even like the carrier bags (I know need to get it sorted really being 43 ) and I know some people don't agree but I do like to occasionally bring home hotel soap and pens as a reminder . If you have any photos you would like to share that would be good . October can't come soon enough for my shopping fix . Also what are you favourite shopping places . Thank you

I really loved shopping in Celebration, there was some lovely quirky little stores there. In one of them I got a earring holder, it's made from metal and it's a woman sat on a swing under a tree. :-)

hotel soap and pens mysteriously disappear as soon as we're back in the room and magically reappear at home when we unpack ... we never managed to solve that mystery :)

we love shopping (my wife does anyway, even though my credit card is less fond of that :) )

florida mall, outlets, walmart ... sometimes it looks like we spend more time in stores than at the parks :)

we love shopping in Florida, TBH florida is the only place we shop for clothes. We get the brands for the price we get noname or store brands at home.
It's a no brainer.

but every woman loves to shop !

Not every woman, my Wife dislikes shopping more than me. :rotfl2:
We don't mind going somewhere if we know what we want but neither of us enjoy browsing.
We don't mind the Disney outlet stores but that's about it for shopping for us.

I hate shopping - if there is something I want I will get it but that's it - will not wander aimlessly. Think it makes DH very happy :)

We spent 30 minutes at the mall last time and it was only that long as DD tried on what felt like every pair of Crocs in the shop! (She has skinny feet so we have to find the best fit so they don't rub)

My hubby would love to have a wife like yours !
As I have got older I seem not to shop as much but I do love shopping and all the gift shops. I have to bring back lots of tack , Do it everywhere I go . I will have to have a disney Xmas tree decoration or two , snow globe , present for our dog ect . On our first trip to disneyland Paris I bought Minnie Mouse slippers that I couldn't even get up or down the stair in but those day are behind me .

My son is 12 and is growing so fast so defo going to try and get him in a least one Mall to get trainers and clothes . I am wanting a new iPod as use my phone but full so will need a mac shop . First time at WDW so we already have lots to do , planned a few rest days so might have to fit in a bit of shopping .

That sound so lovely , think my DH will have to start working longer hours LOL

Also does anyone know how much peanut butter M&M s are as I love them and they quite expensive here , so might be bringing some home for Xmas . Hoping they have them at the airport on the way home .

I like browsing the Disney gift shops for a few souvenirs each trip. Other than that hate shopping but always take teenage son to a mall for clothes an trainers just because I save money this way. It's always my worst afternoon of the trip! The savings do get less it seems year on year :(

This will probably sound ridiculous to some but we use our trip to FL to stock up on a tons of household stuff. It is not unusual for us to have 2 cases full of toothpaste, hand soap, contact lens solution and all sorts of stuff. My DW is from the US and misses a lot of the brands she used before, so we hit up Target and stock up. We always fly PE so we get 6 cases between us so we stock up for 6 months :rotfl2:

We used to love going to the Birkenstock outlet but that wasn't so hot last time we were there. Also, electrical products, we've bought cameras, tablets, video camera out there because it's much cheaper than here. The absolutely best time to go is around Thanksgiving when you can take advantage of the Black Friday sales!

We always bring household buts back too :-) love a shop and walmart and target :-) i even bring cat treats back :-(

Peanut M&M's are about $9 for a huge pack in Walmart;)

A big part of my holiday is shopping. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We tend to go both Premium Outlets, Florida Mall, Mall of Millenia (purely for the Hallmark shop as DH collects some things from there) and also Walmart.

Some years we don't buy much and others we do, it just varies. I normally always come home with Yankee Candles and untold amt of items from Walmart.

We tend to plan the theme parks around the shopping:rotfl:

I consider the Florida Mall as my local shopping centre as I never go shopping at home:)

There is something about Florida Mall and the Mall of Millennia that just drains me of energy - it has had that effect for years and I don't know why. I'm not a big shopper but usually I can put up with a mooch, but not there. Weird!

For the last 10 years we've lived where there were very few shops and no choice so Florida was like paradise to us. Now that we live in MK where we can find everything we want, maybe this year we will give the shops a miss!

Sorry about that!!! I wish, too, but no, just Milton Keynes = although after the Isle of Man it is like a Magic Kingdom (just not THE Magic Kingdom!!!)

well i have had a great time shopping for clothes and stuff for the kids and we havent even got there yet

not sure i fancy spending much time shopping when over there though , lots of other stuff i would rather be doing and i will be avoiding shops completley during day time hours ... i need SUN !

I'm not much of a shopper either. I will have a quick browse through shops where ever I am but I have no interest in heading to Malls unless I want something specific.

We head to Milton Keynes shopping every now and then - we are just half hour further south. :)
