Just teasing.

What I need to know is whether there are muffin pans in the kitchens of BWV? I can't remember whether I saw one when we stayed at BCV last spring.

Also, if anybody has handy a list of just what is stocked in the kitchen, I would really appreciate if you could copy it in. I know I've seen one somewhere before, but don't have time to go hunting right now.

* Casserole dishes, measuring cups and spoons, colander, cutting board and cookie sheet
* Paring knife, cook's knife, tongs, serving spoon, serving fork, can opener, bottle opener and corkscrew

* Dish towel

* Potholders

No muffin pans. I take those foil lined paper cups and use them standing up on the cookie sheet. They work fine.

The last few visits (when we have driven) I brought my own mini muffin pans. Don't forget some grease or PAM type spray.

But I do think we should lobby for muffin pans!!!

I had a double giggle at this question!! When my son was 3 1/2 that was the big question of the day!!
Mom, do you know the muffin man???

And second, I always take a muffin tin with me to our other timeshare in Sint Maarten, the baggage screeners always question it, then they look at the mix and paper liners and understand!!

Last week we were in a 1 bedrm at OKW & in our unit there is also a plastic liquid measure cup & a nested metal mixing bowls set. Two dish towels & paper towels. we did not get a set of dry measure cups.
IMHO they should include a pair of Fiskars scissors & a set of dry measuring cups, also.
there is also a list of things you may request, the blender is one of them, although, last week at OKW, it was right there in the kitchen.
Like the muffin pan idea! Yep, it would be nice to have that--

No muffin tins at DVC, but I purchased 2(that hold 6 regular-sized muffins) at the Dollar Tree for $1 each. We were just there over Thanksgiving, and I brought 7 kids with me(5 were teenagers), so I had to use the stove at least once a day. Being the over-planner I am(my 17-year-old refers to me as "anal"), I meticulously made out my menu for each day, right down to the ham for Thanksgiving Day. I then packed one rubbermaid tote with things that I may forget to buy/not find at Winn Dixie, and the muffin tins made the list. I also noticed that the Dollar Tree sold 2-lb bags of Dixie Crystals sugar, and small bottles of honey. I am still kicking myself for not purchasing them because I paid more for the honey at Winn Dixie, and had to buy a 4-lb. bag of sugar(they did not have 2-lb. bags). At Walmart I purchased a roaster pan(disposable) and a plastic deviled-egg tray for @$2 each to take with me. And I packed the cloves for the ham in a baggie, as well as a small spice jar of paprika to take, as I just knew I would have a hard time finding these items in a strange store. I made a detailed list of what I would need from Winn Dixie so I would not spend precious vacation time wandering around a grocery store trying to remember what I needed.
