Ya know how we're always trying to fit Milesource rewards into our Disney trips, well...I'm needing a relatively inexpensive place to stay our first night b/c we're arriving late on a Friday night. Milesource rewards for the Hyatt and there's a Hyatt right there at the airport in Orlando! It costs $159.00 plus 11% tax =$176.49. I'm getting ready to cash out now + DD will be cashing out in a couple weeks........I think we can come up with around $125 in GC's by the time we go. Do you think I'll have any problems giving them 5 or 6 $25 GC's then paying the balance? The airport Hyatt would be sooooo convienent for us!

Well, I cashed out this morning and only after cashing out I get "the rules" . I can't use more than one GC with ressie and it isn't good at the Hyatt in Orlando! I wrote Milesource asking to cancel this redemption, explained why, but I doubt they will. I just wanted to let you know so you wouldn't try to do this too.

GC are supposed to be like cash so I don't see why not. I plan on using 3 gc at Rainforest Cafe and I expect them to be treated like cash too.

That should work just fine. I've stayed at that Hyatt and it's very nice! We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the rooms were, too.

Cool! I just wish we will have a little more time to spend there, but we'll probably just fall in the bed and go right to sleep...............ya right, that close to WDW, I don't think so!

I responded to you privately by e-mail but I also wanted to post this here:

I can't understand why a Hyatt GC wouldn't be the same as cash!! How ridiculous. Apparently they are actually giving you some sort of coupon "toward" a night at Hyatt. If that's the case, Milesource needs to make that fact clear BEFORE you redeem!

Also, why can't you use it at the Orlando Hyatt? The description of the award on Milesource says "$25 toward any Hyatt Hotel." If it's good at "any" Hyatt, why is Orlando excluded?

If Milesource doesn't make this good, I think you should take it up with Hyatt. Hyatt needs to honor it, or get Milesource to change the language.

What a frustrating way to learn this. Now I remember why I always cash out Milesource for SuperCertificates.
