When you display your Disney pins - whether in a pin book, or some other way - do you keep them on the cards they came on?

You know, the black plastic hangers with the felt on them... these are called the 'cards', right? Some of them say 'LIMITED EDITION', some have the name of the park on them, some are colorful cardboard, etc.

Do you keep the pins with their cards, or do you only display the pins, or do you keep some of the cards, or what?

I'm putting my pins into one of the big pin books with the black felt pages, and it feels somehow sacrilegious to take the pins I bought and remove them from their cards and put them in beside the pins I traded for...

I just take the pins off the backs of those cards they come on when you purchase them, because the card backing would take up to much room in my pin bags. The only time I have seen others keep them on is if they use the type of pin books that are meant for baseball cards, since the pin card can slide right in the slot.

The only pins I really have that have one of the card backings are the attriction poster pics and I just plan on keeping those sealed on the cards in the bags.

The only pins I keep on the cards are the ones sealed or with a event name on them that I got the pin from.

All of my children have started collecting pins. They wear them on the lanyard (my oldest needs more lanyards for all of hers), so we don't keep the cards.

I only keep the backer cards if they are special ones, like the Piece of History pins or any special event pins.

I only keep the pins with the original cards if the cards are special card, like Halloween printed ones or the Piece of History Backers. I just throw all my black backer cards in a box which will probably be eventually tossed.

On Limited Editions I generally keep them on the cards, unless I frame them.
All my binders include basecard card holders. I stick the pin on cards in those, often fastening the prong back through the plastic and covering the prong with the runner back.
I use baseball card holders for dangles, springs, etc too.

The one's I want to keep I do. I bought some plastic boxes that have separated areas and can fit about 3-4 in each area. If I ever need to re-sell them I'll probably be able to get more for them.

The one's I buy to trade, I take off the card, and the one's I buy, but end up not liking I usually keep on the card until I get to the park.

I display my pin on a framed fabric covered cork board. So I take them off the backs. But I do keep the specialty ones. Like special events or LE's.
