My parents rented from Alamo the last time they came to FL, and check-in was a nightmare. I told my mom to sign up for QS, but she said that you had to pay to do so. Is this correct, or is it a free program? I'm trying to get them a good deal on a rental car for their next FL trip, and Alamo seems to have the best rates again. Thanks for any info!

Alamo's program STILL requires you get in line. It "may" be a shorter line, but then again they "may" even forget to open the QS line! (All in all, it's not one of the great programs of the world. Over the years, I have just decided to pay for service so I avoid Alamo)

Also, to get it free as Mary suggests you have to become a small business... I just find that a little much that I have to make up a story...

We used QS for the first time on March 2 with Alamo. Walked straight out to the garage to the booth on the R2 level of the parking garage. Took less than minutes to show and sign the paperwork. The line up inside the airport at the Alamo counter was very long. Glad we joined QS as saved us alot of time. No problems at all!! :thumbsup2
