Do you have to have so many posts before you can send a pm?

I have tried sending three different pms and it keeps saying something about an error and no posts. Is it because I don't have enough posts or something similar to that? I am a relatively new member. Very confused.

yes, the magic number might be 8, but I don't remember for sure....go on over to the community board and post on some fun threads....that will be sure to get your count up. Or go check out some pre trip reports. As you can see by my post count....I can do some pm-ing The DIS can be addictive...be careful! (and welcome)
