Do you have the Canon D10 Powershot Camera?

I am looking into getting this camera for an upcoming vacation. I found it on QVC for $399 but it comes with a bunch of stuff that I know I won't use. I basically just want the camera. I have found it on Amazon for $272. If you DO have this camera, where did you buy it? How much?

Is there an easy way to find out online where the cheapest price is?

Is this the little blue waterproof one? If so, I have it. I bought it for our cruise this past week. We were helmet diving and the camera is waterproof to 33 ft and we were going down about 30 ft. It worked great! I bought it off of Amazon. Just the camera, not a package or anything. I'd like to get the floating wrist strap, but didn't get it this time.

I've read that you should soak the camera in fresh water in the sink for a couple hours after you take it in salt water. That is what I did. I've only had it less than a month, so can't say whether that has made a difference or not.

If you don't plan on going very deep in the water, you could get away with one that is waterproof up to 10 ft. Those are cheaper. There are the Olympus stylus Tough cameras that I have read about.

Yeah, I won't be going very deep in the waters. Atleast not on the cruise we're taking in two weeks. Mainly I would use it as a regular point & shoot camera on dry land and then using it when at the beaches in the ports. I know I'll use it at Norwegians private island. We just love the little bright fish there. And they're not down deep. And I know we're taking an airboat ride (someone said not to bring a camera because you might get sprayed on, so I know this would be great on there) Plus I would also use it at our pool at home, waterparks, etc.

Great pics by the way. What cruise did you go on? Where did you go?

We went on the Carnival Legend. We went to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Roatan (Honduras), and Belize.
