Do you have somewhere to put trash in your car?

My shifter serves as my "garbage bag holder". I usually take a plastic bag from the supermarket and wrap the handles over the shifter.

I put it in a bag in the console beween the front seats. I also find it shoved in the map pockets (thanks, kids!)

Well, I know some people use the entire car as a trash can.
But, for day to day driving, there is no trash can in our vehicles. We just take the trash out when we get out.

If on a long trip, then I have a plastic bag that I use and keep in the floor until we get to our destination.

No, I don't have a trash container (or a convenient place to have one)...and it drives me crazy. I cannot stand my car being cluttered with stuff. I just keep plastic grocery bags in the pocket behind the passenger seat and use them to remove garbage.

Its either "toss it in the back of the van kids" or mommy tosses hers on the floor of the passenger seat. That only is for paper and things, no food or drinks on the floor...we use our car many times as a portable dining room, eating while in route from one activity to another. That stuff goes in a bag on the front seat and out in the trash when we get to our destination.

No, if it's just a regular trip in town, we throw any garbage out when we get home.

If we do any road trips, I usually use a small plastic bag to contain the garbage.

Whenever I get a small bag, the size you get when you purchase a greeting card or book, I save it for my car. There is a spot for an open one for small trash (like kleenex) and several folded ones in the side pocket of my door. Bigger trash gets taken out every trip.

Our other cars don't have convenient spots, so I just try to keep some bags in the car in case we have little trash. I don't mind big stuff, I'll remember to take that out. It doesn't happen that often, but it drives me crazy to have little stuff like kleenex, gum, etc. and not have a place to put it.

I found a box that fits perfectly on the floor area between the front seats, it holds a box of kleenex, alcohol gel hand cleaner and has room for trash.

My mom taught me not to litter so I never do but I have to empty out the car at least once a week. I toss water bottles and napkins etc and them empty when we fill up.I think trying to find a garbage bag while driving would be more dangerous than chatting on my cell phone
