For me, I always pray...not only for myself, but for all those on the plane and especially the pilot.

LOL, that's what I was thinking too! So when I'm in my airline seat, as soon as I fasten my seatbelt, I count the number of rows between me and the exit row. Then I turn around, and count the number of rows between me and the exit to the back.
I recite these numbers to myself several times, and if my DH is with me, I tell him several times as well.
Hopefully we'll never need the info, but if there is a problem, we'll know the best direction to go to get off the plane (forwards or back), and how many rows it is to get there.
