for different seasons? Such as Fall, Spring and so forth?

No, I just have two sets. Every day, and my good ones.

I have holiday dishes...but they never make it down from the attic. Then again, I am the least organized woman imaginable. :teeth:

I have one set for X-Mas and one set for the rest of the year.

I have Mickey snowman dishes for snow season and lighthouse dishes for the rest of the year.

I just bought some new winter/snowmen dinner dishes just about 3 three ago. Never thought of getting them for other seasons...hmmmmm

I have my "good ones", "everyday ware", and my "holiday set". I also have a set of Correlle(sp) that I am saving for my dd to head out to college with. I love Dishes lol.

I have a few place settings of "fancy" dishes that I never use -- they're expensive enough that I'm afraid of breaking something AND they can't be washed in the dishwasher. And, at over $100 a place setting, I can't really see the sense in buying MORE dishes that I won't use.

I also have regular, everyday dishes -- nice enough to use for guests, but not so expensive that I'll cry if something gets broken. When I purchased these dishes, I actually purchased more than I wanted so that I would have some extra for breakage. (We have tile floor in the kitchen, hard wood in the dining room and two young children.)

I don't have the time/energy/space to have different dishes for different seasons.

I have a nice set of everyday dishes, and a set of china. The china is in the attic though, because there is not enough room for it in the kitchen, so it never gets used.

I have 2 sets... styrofoam and the clay/ceramic or whatever they are made of! :rotfl: Which ones do you think I use the most?

OK, who said yes? I can't imagine having four sets of dishes!

We have two. The everyday set and the good china that gets used about once a year. I could see maybe getting a set of Christmas theme dishes, but spring, summer and fall?? I'd have to gain some serious organization skills to change them out that often!

Do I have different sets of dishes? Oh brother! ::yes:: You have *no idea*! Friends sold 9 large sets for me on ebay this past year and there are still soooo many more. One of my grandmothers entertained formally *a lot* and left me tons of china, crystal and silver. I also inherited (as an only child) china from my other grandmother, great grandmother and my mom. DH could SCREAM! Oh, and I also buy things I like to add to all this chaos! :teeth: I absolutely adore china!!!!!!

I have 2 sets. One set is our expensive set that we USE (I consider 50.00 a place setting expensive)...I bought the "Country Roses Casual" (form of Royal Albert China "Old Country Roses") that can put in the dishwasher, microwave, whatever, pretty tough set. I have 6 place settings.

Then I have the big, sorta nice, fall set for family Holiday gatherings. 16pc place settings. Cannot be put in the microwave.

I also love dishes and would love a new set of holiday dishes that can be microwaved/dishwasher safe.

are you kidding, Im half animal why would I have four sets of dishes

We have a lot of sets but they're not seasonal. We have china that's safely tucked away until the next dinner party. When we moved in together we combined 5 sets of everyday dishes and now we're down to four. There's the blue flower pattern, the blue toile, plain blue, and my pink and black Chanel-ish set. One day I'd like to replace the mish-mash sets with plain white ones.

Yep. All from the Jolly Jetsam line: Summer Broken, Heifer Fall 'n' Autumn Spring for more Winter All Gone.

On happy occasions, I may even break out the Depression glass.

;)
