Do you have Comcast On-Demand?

This is brand spanking new in our area and I'm in love with it. I just watched the coolest special from the food network, "Unwrapped Disney," about all the different food at WDW. :rotfl: Boy, did they find the way to my heart.

I now spend most of my tv watching time just flipping through all the choices. I can't wait to check out the new show on BBC America,"Hex." I've been wanting to see this but when regularly scheduled, it comes on too late for me.

So do you have it? Do you like it and what shows have you checked out?

We had on demand with our old digital cable and I never really looked into it because I thought it was like pay per view where you paid for each show, well, when the guy was setting up the cable in our new house he said that most of the on demand stuff was free so now I am going to have to look into using that occasionally.

We are so spoiled! I don't know how we ever lived without On Demand. DH and I watch all our HBO shows, although we still do enjoy setting aside Sunday nights for them. DS loves watching music videos, and DD will go through and watch Sponge Bob a million times. :rotfl2:

I need to go look for this unwrapped show. Sounds good!

DH was the same way when I showed it to him--he kept saying, "All these shows are FREE?" Yep, unless it says "Buy," they're free. He's still suspicous, though, but I think it's the greatest thing the cable company has ever done. :teeth:

This is something I've thought about getting, but I'd have to get a cable box. This requires a deposit of $150 and another $5.95 rental fee per month. Instead, I got a Tivo. :happytv:

I had no idea they even used cable boxes any more. I've never had one, and I currently have Comcast. Have had them for 3 years now. :confused3

Hex is actually quite interesting. Make sure you see the episode in order. Later episodes won't make sense if you haven't seen the earlier episodes, and once you've seen a later episode, the earlier episodes won't be as enjoyable.

I have both a TiVo (for standard definition television) and a Comcast DVC (for HDTV), so I haven't used On Demand. Regardless of the means, watching things when you want them, pausing and fast-forwarding through the parts you want to, is essential. It represents as much of an improvement for viewers as the change from black-and-white to color, IMHO.

Our favorite On Demands are Deadwood, Sopranos and Big Love.

It's nice to be able to watch our shows together whenever we want. On Demand is the best thing ever!!

Wow, they are just offering On Demand up there?

I am slowly using ours more and more. They are doing away with all of the pay per view and putting more and more programming in the On Demand menu.

I tried to watch something the other night and couldn't because DH didn't pay his cable bill ($5.00) :rotfl2: He works for the cable co.

Enjoy :wave2:
