Do you have braces?

have them, hate them, but getting them off in March of 2006. I have had them ever since 7th, which makes it two years. They really don't help especially when I play flute

I had them, and hated them. Got them on in 6th grade, got them off three years later in 9th. I'm supposed to be wearing my retainer every night, but I've been known to go weeks without wearing it.

I had a retainerr for about 8 months. But my dentist told me I didn't nnedd them because I only had one gap. He fixed the gap a week later and it didn't even hurt.

How much does it hurt to get them off? My sister and I got them on the same day, (January 11th) and unfortunately I'm the guinea pig. One good thing, I get to gloat about being out first! I went to a braces removal website, but it wasn't very clear. Any advice would be great!

Went through braces in 8th grade, then a retainer for 2 years. Lol, I'd say that was...a really long time ago that I didn't have to wear my retainer anymore. Lol.
