I could have had some "hot" furniture about a month ago.

I answered the door and there was a guy there and behind him in the street was what looked like a moving van. He said that they had furniture they were to have delivered COD and the person couldn't pay. They were going door to door in the neighborhoods to offer people "great deals on furniture to cover their costs". I promptly declinded.

I went over to a friends for dinner that night. They live about 3 neighborhoods away. When I got to their house, the same truck was outside their house but this time there were police cars in front and back of the truck.

Ah Ha! Bob...that same thing happened in our neighborhood this summer. A truck came by with some "undeliverable" furniture and was offering it at "discount" prices. Yikes!

ummm...errr....do "burnt" CD's figure into this catagory?
