Do You Have Any Disney Vacation Traditions?

We always get ice cream on Main Street during Eticket night when everyone else is leaving the park. It's like we have it to ourselves.

We always start by having something from the Bakery on Main Street on our first day too. :sunny:

Always eat at Capn Jack's the first day.

Always eat a footlong at Rosie's at MGM and get grapes at the market next door.

Our tradition day one is grocery shop then go to DTD and have a nice meal in our room. First park day is MK and it's a small world first and foremost.

Not yet - this summer was the first time with the family (I've been before) so we were pretty overwhelmed with it all. Even with all our intensive planning! Next time I'll be sure to start some good traditions. Or maybe DH or DS will remember something from this trip and make a point of wanting to do it again...we're hoping and hoping that we'll be able to go this summer again or try to go in October or something. I promised Lance we'd go when he was six, so that gave me a wide range there!! :teeth:

We always go to Chef Mickeys
We always try to ride in the front of the monorail and take a picture of DH and boys while another monorail is going by.

DH and I always have our picture taken in front of the Partners statue with the castle in the background.

Ride the Haunted Mansion, is always a must for me every time I visit. Now Tarzan Rocks is a part of that tradition as well.

We have a strange tradition. I was in the Boardwalk's General Store on our son's 1st Birthday. The CM's heard me say that it was his birthday, so they got out this big birthday hat, took his picture and sent the photos to us. It just so happened that the picture was taken of him in his stroller in front of the beer cooler. My husband thought that was so funny and insists that we take our son's picture in front of a beer cooler every time we go to WDW.

We always check in, and then I rush to take pictures of our resort room. Yep, I’m a goober! :teeth:

We always eat lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern.

We always ride the TTA when our feet get tired.

We always visit the Polynesian, hopefully for a meal. ;)

When we check into Pop, we give everybody their Disney goody bags. My HH paints everyone their own disney glass w/their names on them and we have a toast to the beginning of our 10 day vacation. We hop on the bus to DTD and go to Worlds of Wonder and the Xmas shop. Our 1st stop in the MK and we have to watch Spectro and Wishes the 1st night, 2nd night-Illuminations, 3rd - Fantasmic. Our last night with the family, we go back & watch Fantasmic. Everyone goes home on Sat. and me, my HH, and our 5yr dd stay an extra night and we spend our very last day @ the MK and we go to one more character breakfast. We end the vacation with Wishes. Oh, I can't wait-just 3 more months!!!!

The past couple of times we have been, we rode Pirates of the Caribbean first. So I think that is our new tradition! pirate:

We always go to the Magic Kingdom first.

We do too! Though summer before last we didn't and my DH said the whole week seemed off!

I first have to rub the nose of Mickey at the Disney Store at MCO, then we go to MK and ride It's a Small World. I'm all quivery until I get those two things done!! :goodvibes

It has always been first full day at the Magic Kingdom. Until it stopped opening for breakfast we always had eaten at Tony's. I sure do miss that.
