We usually head down to a little Italian place for ours.

The owner is a good friend of mine.

We have 2 at my place of employment. Last Friday we had a girls night out, where all the girls in the office got together, had prime rib and did a yankee swap with gifts.

Friday we have a luncheon. The Waste Water Supervisor deep fries a Turkey, the Fire Dept cooks a roast, The office girls bring in cold appetizers, the PD brings desert... Its 3 hours long, and the Town Hall basically shuts down, except for the 1 person who has to continue to answer the phone. Depending on the storm due here Thursday- we may not have much. If the highway dept is out plowing, that means the Fire Dept will be out cleaning fire hydrants, and the PD will be out towing cars.

DH's company has a holiday party in January. Its held in a hotel on a Saturday night. They give us a great room rate to stay over(its a Westin...heavenly beds!!!) and since we are hotel guests, we usually go early and spend the day in the sauna & hot tub.
The party begins around 7:00 with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, dancing(dj), raffles, speeches  awards, and more dancing.

Bet you helped him buy the place, didn't you, zuzu's dad? so he must treat you like royalty.

We have a party in the company cafeteria for the whole division, and our department has a breakfast on christmas Eve.

This is really cool!!!

We have an office party as long as I feel like organizing it, which doesn't take much. There's only 5 of us.... And it's retail so lunch is quick! This year we'll buy a couple of roast pork sandwiches at a place nearby that are to DIE FOR and maybe a hoagie, and we'll split them all up. Some sides, some cookies and back to work!!

We had it already...it is a no spouses allowed party at a local bar.

I work at a hospital and we had a giant party. There was tons of food - shrimp, bacon-wrapped scallops. prime rib - you name it. It was BYOB and the booze was flowing. I don't drink, so I had a great time watching nearly all the medical professionals in this small town dance like idiots. This was the first time I had attended. I asked a co-worker if she was going to the party and she said no, she had been once and then said, "It's not a place you'd want to be if Jesus comes." So then I knew I had to go to see what it was all about. Turned out to be alot of fun. As far as I know, Jesus did not come. LOL

They had it last Friday night at a restaurant. It's really an office building party tho, with the individual bosses paying for their employees. I think there are about 6 small businesses in the building so, everyone gets together. I didn't go since I work with/for only one guy and, he couldn't go so, I only knew one other couple really. I didn't miss anything. I went out with my dh & kids instead (with my bonus $$). ;) Maybe next year.

We have a holiday breakfast which happens to be this morning from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

We are having an office luncheon with a gift exchange on Friday. Thats our christmas bonus. Its a really good time because most of us don't work in the office and we only see people once or twice a year. I had taken a personal day that day, but I changed it just so I could go to the party!

We used to but due to cost cutting & pressure to not celebrate Christmas  we did not this year.

However, we did have a department party within my small group.

I work in a small law office, 3 of us, no party, no lunch, no bonuses, no nothing ever. Boss is somewhat of a SCROOGE!!! BAH HUMBUG!!!

We have one every year! I plan it and organize it as a potluck at my boss' house. Then I tell him he is having a party. It works great. We call his wife and pick out a date and do it. I tell the people in my office that it is my party so that more of them come, becuase they like me better. I tell my boss I do that too, he doesn't care and he knows it is true.

yep, ours is tonight, but spouses are not invited, so i usually don't go.
