Do you have a "Stretch Goal"?

Last week I weighed in at 183 (down 47 lbs. from a high of 230). My original goal was to get to my "wedding weight" which was 177 or 178. Now I'm thinking I would like to get down to the low 170's which would be the middle of the healthy weight range for my height and a BMI of 22.4. My wife finally commented on the "dents along the side" of my stomach and it makes me want a 6 pack! (and I really want to fit into size 34 pants!).

So, do you have a stretch goal? How do you deal with people who say you don't need to lose more weight, you are too thin already, etc?

I say GO FOR IT, Poly Pal!!! Don't listen to those people who say you're too thin and don't need to lose any more weight. It's your body, you know how you want it to look and you know how you feel. As long as you aren't starving yourself or losing it in an unhealthy way (which we know you aren't!!!) then it's none of their business what you do! ;) (sticking my tongue out at those people for you...)

Good for you for wanting the 6 pack! You have lost A BUNCH of weight already, I know you can lose the rest! And why not, you DESERVE to feel as good about yourself as you can!

My husband was thinking at first that he just wanted to lose X pounds and fit into a size 34. Now he's in a 34 and he's hoping to just change the ratio of fat/muscle in his body. He said today that he doesn't care if he doesn't make it to the 32s, as long as he's lean and has a flat stomach (I hope this makes sense). The way he's working out and eating now, he might not lose much more on the scale, but his body is going to (we hope) add muscle mass and burn body fat, which we also hope will expose those stomach muscles I know he has!

You just keep on doing what you are doing! I think people get used to seeing the old bodies we used to live in and it is hard for them to accept us as "thin", so then they get worried and think we are taking it too far. Sorry to ramble on, just want to say I support you 100%! :)

Im expecting my mother to have something negative to say when I see her Friday. Ive lost 10lbs since I last saw her 2months ago.
About 12yrs ago I was at my goal weight (did it by partying so really wasnt healthy) of 130. Striving for that 130 again. If mother has something negative to say like Im looking anorexic Im telling her thats what the doctors office said I should be.

I have a "stretch" goal, but I'm just not sure yet what it is!

I achieved my WW goal a few weeks ago. (Only two more weeks of maintenance and I'll be LIFETIME!) Right now, all I want to do is maintain for the rest of the summer and enjoy some of the things (occasionally!) that I had cut out of my diet. But, once school starts again, I want to drop a few more. I'm thinking probably about 8 from where I am right now, but I'll see how I feel when I get there!

Y'all will know when you see that gorgeous "goal" clippie in my signature!
