Do you have a "secret" fun pastime?

Since we've been on a budget, I have developed a secret passion for "cybershopping." Clothes, vacations, jewelery, anything. I ran up a satisfyingly huge bill at Neiman Marcus.com the other day...until I hit cancel. I also like to color in coloring books - I tell DH they're for kids who visit, but they're mine!

I love to watch bull riding. My DH thinks I'm crazy and no one else knows or if they do, they think I'm crazy too!

We don't have cable right now, but when we did I loved doing this. I liked all the weird sporting events on ESPN -- World's Strongest Man, Highland Games, etc. Oddly, I don't much enjoy "typical" sports.

I write fanfic. shhhh. its fun and gives me a bit of an outlet for creativity, but its still not something I usually confess to.

I do also, about an old television show. Love to read it too.

In real live, only my husband and my very best friend know about it but they've never read it. I do have a lot of on line friends who have read my work, though.

If I go to the gym and I am in there alone, I crank up the music, either on my iPod or on MTV on the tv and sing along LOUD! I can't sing worth a doodle. If someone walked in, it would be bad....

I also write fanfic Only DH and my online friends in that genre know.

Cyber shopping? ooooooh, that sounds like FUN!!! Heading off to try that!

I love to watch old comedy movies from the '50s/'60s...Old Doris Day, Rock Hudson, Gary Grant Lucy/Desi, Gidget flicks....some of my favorites are Trouble With Angels, The Long Trailer, With Six You Get Eggrolls, Yours, Mine and Ours. I know, I'm a geek. I'm not all that old either, I also adore dissing/lounging, no one I know "gets" that, but they sure do "get" it when I plan their trips and save them tons of money
