I burn essential oils rather than candles as I find it's a stronger scent. Still love candles though!!

I do a lot of energy work and scent really enhances my experience. Many of you will have heard of aromatherapy.

When you burn essential oils do you put them in the clay pots above candles or on the lamp rings?

I'm so into aromatherapy.

On a damp cool day I like to burn tropical scents. One of my favorite scents was Yankee Candle's Pineapple Jasmine that they've discontinued. I found it to be a great mood lifter!

Of the few allergies I have, strong fragrances are the worst. I can't even walk by a Yankee Candle Store without wheezing.

I use the clay pots. It has a spot for a tea candle and I usually use a bit of water (not tap water though) and put several drops in. I love Young Living Oils as their blends are incredible. I love two of them especially - one called Joy, and another called Abundance. I'll often use Lavender.

I am obsessed with my tart burners. I am burning one right now and I have Apple Spice in there... I walked in from my kids swimming lessons and it smelled SO good (little sis was here with baby, no I didn't leave a candle burning, lol).

I also have lavender, strawberries & cream and Pumpkin Spice which is my favorite!

But if I hadda choice it would be 'spring shower' or soemthing like that. It's drier then a dust phart!!!

I have a Granny Smith tart in my electric tart warmer right now. It smells so good. My DH sometimes wishes I would develop an allergy to Yankee Candles because I have so many of them. I buy more often now that we have a store here in town now.

DH does love YC Chocolate Cappuccino scent. I bought him one of the large jar candles for Father's Day.

I love the food scented candles, but one I don't care for are the chocolate scents. I don't know why, I love all things chocolate, just not the candles!

I love Harvest and Home Sweet Home. I like the Fall scents best. I also like Seaside Holiday but it's gone. I keep checking the YC sale to see if they put someone, they did last time and I bought a few!

In the kitchen I have Yankee Buttercream and in the living room its the Yankee Very Berry Swirl which is Buttercream and Strawberry swirled. At work I have been burning a Key Lime Pie tart but I think I might change it tomorrow.
