Do you have a regular bedtime?

Last night at 5:30pm I was prepping veggies for a stirfry and overheard my in laws talking in the basement.

My mother-in-laws was going to bed.

I know as you age you rise earlier and get sleepy earlier but I just don't see myself ever wanting to head to bed at 5:30.

On a weeknight I typically make it to bed between 10:30 and 11:30.

On a weekend it is likely11:30 to 1:00.

I go to bed around 11-midnight, sometimes as late as 1am. I wake up after about 4 hours of sleep, and often can't go back to sleep, so I have to balance it all out. About every 10 days or so I'll be totally exhausted and spend the evening on the couch, sinking into the cushions and just relaxing, but if I let myself fall asleep before 10, I'll be up around 3:30, no matter how tired I am. I'm working on this with my PCP and wellness coach, as I really need more, unbroken sleep.

Ehhh...on weeknights sometime between 830 and 945 is when I lay down, but then I scroll for another 30-60 mins. I used to stay up later on the weekends, but it's getting harder and harder to stay up past 10:30ish.

I guess I should have also asked about the morning since they seem like they should be intertwined.

M-F I get up at 8am, benefit of working from home.

On the weekends I don't set an alarm unless something special is going on that weekend. I tend to be up and out of bed by 9am but it is not unusual to not be out until 11am.

My DH and I have a regular bedtime at 9:30pm every night, and I get up at 5am every day - even on the weekends because I like to be at the gym by 7am.

I am usually in bed by 9:30-10:00 but I rarely get to sleep until 11:00ish. Usually I wake up around 6:00 am, even on the days I don't have to set an alarm.

My retired parents have opposite schedules from each other. Dad is asleep by 9:00 pm at the latest and up by 7:00 am. Mom goes to sleep around 2:00-3:00 am and sleeps until 11:00 am.

Usually between 9-10 pm. My alarm goes off at 6 during the week and on Sunday for my long run.

Normally in bed by 10. I like to watch Gutfeld's monologue before I drop off to sleep.
