Do you have a piece of Disney that brings a smile to your face?

Everytime I see my little Mickey hugging Pluto ornament it just brings a big smile to my face.

How about you? What piece of Disney do you have that makes you smile?

It would have to be my very first pin. My O'Malley pin. Every time I see it I think about how I got it and what a wonderful trip that was and just can't help but smile.

I'm pretty sure I've shared this before, but since you asked....

My favorite piece from Disney that brings a smile to my face everytime I look at it is... A large Pooh plush my "pop-a-dop" bought me the first year WDW was opened. It has the pom pom nose. It is mint as well.

I remember after it was paid for, the CM wanted to put it in a bag and I said no, pooh wanted to be free!!!

Of the hundreds of Pooh's I have, it is the only Pooh I took when we had to evacuate for the hurricanes. To me it is priceless!!

This is also my "get me through the day" item:

On my desk at work, I have a cup with a "bouquet" of Mickey-head and other WDW shaped pencils. I have about five different colored Mickey heads, a polka dot Minnie with a bow, star-shapes from MGM, all the musical shapes from RnR, and a <i>Binford Tools</i> hammer shape. I have only one pen in the group -- a white minnie head with a veil, from our 25th wedding anniversary trip.

I check for new colors on every trip. Sadly, it is often a couple of years between the release of new colors.

But one eye is on that "bouquet" every day!

Mine is a photograph of my son Jason, nose to nose with Winnie the Pooh, on his first visit to WDW, age 3. All he wanted to do the entire time we were there was see Pooh. The joy on his little face exemplifies what Disney is all about.

(PS he's 20 now and would kill me if he knew I was posting this )

I have those little wind up thingies on my desk in my NEWLY REMODELED KITCHEN!!!

I just wind up the Mickey Mouse ears , Mickey Mouse feet, and the Mad Hatter hat etc. and laugh and laugh.



The only one in the family that doesn't get a kick out of it and rolls her eyes is the 17 yr. old. If I hear "oh mom" one more time......

I have several things that bring a smile to my face....the first being my personal mug. My coffee just wouldn't taste the same in anything else. It's a matte finish, green mug with various stages of drawings of Tigger.
The second is my collection of Dept. 56 Disney pieces. I can't wait to erect them for the holiday season. They go up at the end of October and come down at the end of January.......
