Do you have a favorite I Love Lucy episode?

My favorite is the Job Switching episode (aka Lucy and the chocolate factory).

My kids hate it when I see that episode. I go around saying "a roustem poro" for days afterwards.

Can someone tell me how to spell chicken and rice in the Spanish form?

I love the one where she and Harpo Marx do the "mirror image" of each other.

It's hard to pick, that is like my favorite show ever.

I loved the one where they were trying to raise chickens and they weren't laying eggs so Lucy and Ethel tried to sneak eggs out to the hen house in their clothes and Ricky made Lucy do the tango with him while she had a shirt full of eggs and when he pulled her close to him for the grand finale they all cracked. It's just too funny.

Then the one where Lucy wanted to win a flower show and her neighbors tulips looked better than hers so she bought wax tulips and they melted in the sun.

There are way too many episodes I would consider favorites. It's just the greatest show ever in my opinion.

There are just too many favorites. But , for some reason, I really like the episodes when they lived in Connecticut. (yes - the tango & eggs epi!) Loved the Hollywood ones too!
I also like the Lucy/Desi Comedy Hour - there were only a few filmed & they had great guest stars.

My favorites are the ones with Tennessee Ernie Ford as Cousin Ernie. Remember Teensy and Weensy?

I love them all! But I especially love the ones in California, (Harpo Marks and the one where they steal William Holden's boots for the cement block for Grummans Chinese Theater) and the episodes in Connecticut.

Oh, I have to add my dd's favorite episode: where Lucy joins "The Friends of the Friendless" because she thinks everyone forgot her birthday.

I LOVE the Hollywood, Europe, and Conneticut episodes, too! I could name them all but it might go on all night.

I love them all! My kids roll on the floor when Lucy says "Are you unpoopular?Do you pop out at parties?" At their age,they find any mention of poop to be hilarious.They will rewind that over and over. I also like the one when she goes to "soak up local color" in the vinyard and gets in a grape fight.

I do love them all myself but one of my faves and I do not know the name of the episode is when Lucy gets into a tub of grapes with a short beefy "Italian" woman to make the wine and you know it turns out to be a battle between the two of them... and the faces that Lucy makes behind the other woman's back are priceless... I did see an interview with Lucy years back or read something, I am not sure which, where she said that the woman playing Italian woman really was tough and was knocking Lucy around in the huge tub...

I love all the shows but the favorite that comes to mind is the one where Ricky sings the chick chickie boom song while Lucy is dancing around. I just love that song but I don't know the name of it.

One of my faves is the entire series of when they are in Europe. They have the grapes incident, and the getting in and out of France on the bikes. Or when she finds out she is eating snail...


We watch the show all the time and my kids love it. Besides I feel so at home listening to Ricky, as my ather sounds just like him.

My favorite is when they were getting ready to travel to Europe. I think Lucy had to get the doctor who delivered her to verify who she was for her passport. She got stuck in the steamer trunk and the doctor came to the apartment and said if she was Lucy Magillicutty (sp?) she could sing "Jimmy Crack Corn". She did of course, and Ricky walked in as she was singing and the doctor was dancing....well, you know the look Ricky had on his face
