Do you have a favorite Disney CD?

To the OP, you can buy all 5 of the volumes in a boxed Classic Disney set.

The one that Browneyes has is part of a newer series. They've added some newer songs to the "Greatest Hits" series. I love my Classics box, but I've been tempted to buy the Greatest Hits, too. The box of five "Classic Disney" is sold at the Virgin Megastore in DTD for 30 bucks (usually on sale for 25) and I end up picking up one for somebody every time I'm there. As a result of my box, I have a spare of volume 1 and 2 that I keep at work for afterhours listening!

My favorite, hands down, is the Millenium Celebration. It's on a tape for the car, the disk goes in the laptop bag if I travel and it's constantly in the CD player at home. Older son is constantly humming the ToN song, and he's never seen the parade. Younger son always asks for the "Epcot music" when we get in the car, LOL!

The lesson I've learned is to pick up whatever park CD's you can, while you can. It's a great way to remember previous trips. I've been instructed to get the one with Epcot's entrance music on it when I go in two weeks. I have a feeling that will be DH's favorite for a while, because we love listening to the music loop while traveling around Future World.

i don't have any of the parks cd's yet...:(

but my current favorite disney cd is the instrumental impressions cd...it's perfect for weddings! i used it for my own...it's very relaxing and puts you in a good mood...

i do have 2 more disney cd's...but i can't remember the names of them! it's a compilation of different songs from movies and one has the main street parade song! i haven't pulled those out in awhile...they may have to come out to play! ;)

The volume you have and #2--haven't bought #3 yet! Our only problem with #1 & #2 here is fighting over them and tracking them down from room to room. My kids like to "borrow" them and they don't find their way back to me! Did I mention, they were a Mother's Day gift to ME from ME a couple of years back. ;)

I bought Disney's Superstar Hits for my DD for Christmas one year....... It never left my room. I play it often & loud. Something about Christina's reflections gets me.

I think I will look for one of those park ones this year. Hopefully one that will remind me of Epcot. I also like the sound of that Beauty & the beat one!

The Disney cds i have are:

Tarazan soundtrack--i really love this one
The Little Mermaid sdt
Princess Collection
The Lion King sdt
Disney's Greatest Pop Hits--which i probably listen to the most

There are SO many Disney cd's out there! I want more songs and have downloaded a ton and need to make a cd.:)

Has anyone listened to the "oh Mickey Where Art Thou?" CD?? Sounds like that could be some fun!!

Right now we like the Princess Lullaby cd. It is great at bedtime. A close second is the Music of teh Park and Lilo and Stitch

Is this really what it's called? Where did most of you buy it? Exactly what songs/themes are on it?

Thanks,
Lisa

That is the name of it. I am ashamed to say that I checked it out from the library and made a copy of it. It has a night picture of the castle and tinkerbell flying up to the top. You might look at the library. It is an older cd. It really just has classic Disney tunes.

Thanks Megan's Mom! Don't be ashamed, your smart for doing so!

Have a magical day,
Lisa

O Mickey, Where Art Thou? is pretty good. I'm used to hearing Bluegrass a lot because the local NPR station has it--but this is not as uptempo as I'm used to hearing. Still, it's not bad.

The Music in the Parks is great and is our first runner up in the CD player. A coworker burned a copy of hers because it's out of print. We tend to sing "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit" when we work together, and it's got the original "One Little Spark". It's a great way to remember the old attractions.
