Had a busy day planned today. Drop Ashley off at school, then gym, then do half of Glen's free newspaper delivery (its too big a round for him to do alone IMO) then pick Ash up at lunchtime from his school to take him to the local primary school for an inclusion day prior to moving to senior school, then do the weekly shop, then pick Ashley up, then tea, then take him to his golf lesson (instead of Saturday as we are going away), finally a sit down.
What happens when I wake up - a pathetic voice whimpers "Mum, I ache all over, can I stay off school?" This was Glen, typical male, has to have a day off for an ache! So gym cancelled, have to do all of his newspapers and ran round the supermarket like a thing possessed. Funny how he tucked into pizza and chips tonight and has managed to use his aching hands to play on his computer games. I've told him he's back at school tomorrow, but I've a feeling the aches will be back in the morning!
