Do you go to WDW at the same time/month every trip?

We always stick to April because we know exactly when to go and what to expect (or sort of). We also find the temperature is really good and the parks are not too too crowded.

We tend to always go around my birthday which is August 2. This year we went alittle early at the end of July (the 29th).

Every single time we go we get a day closer to my birthday. One of these day's i'd actually like to be there for my birthday.

We jump back and forth with the months, but we typically always go in the summer. We like heat and humidity. :)

Since our 2nd or 3rd trip we always go for the week of Thanksgiving. Nice weather and less vacation time/school days used.

Is it busy/crowded at that time of the year?

We've always been in the habit of going in Oct/Nov. Love the weather then and lower crowds.
Last year we went in September for our honeymoon. It was definitely a trade-off---The parks were almost empty (in comparison) but the heat was stifling. Not one drop of rain the entire time (which I know, is rare). We may switch between the three months now.
But we will be trying to add a December trip one year just to see the Xmas decorations.

Early January visits. Low crowds, better hotel rates. We try to catch the end of the kids school holidays so they only have to take a week off school.

Although I dont mind the weather this time of year dh would prefer the warmer months.

Second week of January. Our son is home from college for a month over the Holidays. Low crowds and mild temps - a perfect combination.

We've gone in April, January, September, and May. We have finally decided that May is the best time for us for several reasons:

1. January is too cold for us and Disney does a lot of re-habs off peak (duh).
2. April was nice--DS missed too much school though.
3. September was still REALLY hot! (and its still hurricane season!)

And now, MAY!!

1. We go mid-May - Memorial Day: low crowds (until MD weekend)
2. Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot--EVERYTHING is in bloom!
3. Star Wars Weekends at MGM
4. GREAT weather--a little warm, but not stiffling! and its not hurricane season until June!
5. DS only misses a couple of days of school at the end of the year--not in the middle

We go in September most years --same week as well--
yes it is hot --some years are better then others--
we have and do still go other months and we have decided the low crowds are for us
It is the people we can't tolerate the heat is good!! :lmao:

We always go early December. I love Christmas time and Disney does it best! It is usually less crowded and we just love it then!

Have A Magical Day!

We always go at the end of August. :sunny:

I don't know why...it's always too hot and crowded. :confused3

I guess it must be because it gives us somthing to look forward to all summer. :yay:

This year we are going Aug 20-Sep 2, for a 7 day stay at POR, and then a 7 day western Caribbean cruise on the Magic. :woohoo:

We will also be returning in February for my DD's cheerleading competition. This is a first for us...going in February. :cheer2:

I have been in February (President's week vacation)
April (Easter Break)
May (Memorial Day weekend/our Anniversary)
end of June/Early July (summer vacation)
July to mid July(summer vaction)
End of July(summer vacation)
End of August (just before school started)
September (the year before I went back to work)
December (I was very, very bad)

As you can see I have to work around school breaks with two kids in school and a career as a teacher I don't have much flexibility. The only thing that is certain is that I will be there every summer in early or late July. Feb. air travel is $$$$ and the other times of the year would just be on a whim. One year we had a two week Christmas vacation--I would love for that to happen again so I could go the week before Christmas and be back home in time for Christmas. I have entertained the thought of arrival on Dec. 26 and departure on the 30th. just to see the decorations again!

We're just now going to repeat a month - December but I'm a huge Christmas fanatic and have been dying to go back. So far we've been to WDW:

1999 late October
2002 early December
2003 early September
2005 early February
2006 early May

We had awful weather the last time we went in December - cold and very rainy but from what everyone has said, it must have been a fluke so we're hoping for better luck this year. After that my favorite time was early September. The crowds were non-existent and the heat seemed no worse than it was this May.

Normally June
then a small trip 4 or 5 days in OCT this year DEC so we will alternate those.

Then every other year when we do AP's we will try to get in 2 extra small trips around easter &fall. This will give us 4 trips a year 5 on the AP then 1 trip on nonAP year for US/IOA in the fall or winter.

Nope. So far I have been in January, end of Feb/first week of March, May, September and October.

Weather wise, the best trip was by FAR May.

I think the most crowded time was when we went the first week of October- then again, Mission Space was debuting and a lot of press were in the parks.

Our next trip will most likely be in June. :sunny:

I have been going generally the last week in May, Flower and Garden Festival, and late Nove/early Dec, all the Christmas decorations, attractions and low crowds, great weather.

We haven't figured out our favorite time to be there yet. A few years ago, DD & I went in March, and then we (entire family) were just there late Feb./early March, and now we are planning on being there over Christmas. For us, our vacation schedule revolves around the school calendar, DDs cheerleading competition schedule, and DHs work schedule. Personally, for me, anytime is the perfect time to be there!!

I've been to Disney a lot of the months of the year, but the past 4 years I have been in September, so that has been our routine. :sunny:
