When your flights leave later in the day, do you spend that last day in the park at all? I made a reservation for CRT on our last day, and DH doesn't think we should even be going to a park. I don't know what we'll do with our day. We don't have to go to the airport until 2. Our flight leaves at 5.

We've done both. Last time we finished a cruise and had three days. Went to TL and long day at MK and were just too tired our last day. Trip before that spent the whole day at AK and were glad we did.

Yes. We try to squeeze every minute out of our visit. We had a schedule (last trip) similar to yours but slightly later. On our travel day, we bused from AKL to Epcot, rode the monorail to MK, toured MK for 3-4 hours, walked to CR, bused to AK for a late lunch, toured/shopped for about 2-3 hours, & then bused back to AKL to catch our towncar ride. It was great fun!

I personally try to squeeze in as much as possible on our last day. I like to get evening flights so we CAN go to the parks at least most of the day!! Once I ran to MGM in the AM for 2 hours, then raced back to the room to leave for our flight!!

Always go back to a park on my last day. Usually MGM or Epcot when I'm at one of the Epcot resorts, MK if I'm at one of the Deluxe Resorts on the monorail.

I'm planning on going to the park on my last day. I want to squeeze in every bit of magic I can. We're going to do breakfast at 1900 park fare and then probably hop over to MK or AK for a little while before running back to the resort to catch the bus back to the airport
I can't wait to get there! Only a couple more days!
:cool1: :Pinkbounc

Thanks for all of the replies. I figured I would purchase the tickets that way, since to get 8 day tickets it is only an extra $10, total.

yea, we usually go to the parks on the last day too...we fly on TMA and their flights fly direct into Syracuse so we don't mind the later flights like 8PM or so...it gives us a pretty full day at the parks...its just so sad to leave

We always do outside the park activities - shopping at DD, character breakfast, resort pool, DisneyQuest, mini golf, etc. Makes for a less stressful time once you get to the airport for our family of 6.

Have fun!

when we stayed at the poly we went to MK & left after the share a dream parade for our evening flight. I don't know if I would go if I stayed off the monorail line ;)

Yes go to a park on your last day. If you can park hop and hit the major rides you want to ride. Then goto DTD and shop before you go. It's tiring, but your getting that last of it in....oh don't forget to stock up on Earl of Sandwich. One to eat on the plane and for the next day...yummy

We usually have mid day flights so we have to be at the airport in the AM but this time our flight doesn't leave until 5 so we will be in the MK !!

I go to the parks on the last day to. Sometimes its Epcot and Mk or another
park. Its lots of fun to squeeze bit more magic. ::MickeyMo

Just got back on Sunday, and we had a 6:30 flight. Our original plan was to do the parks, but... we ended up driving over to AKL to check it out, and had lunch there, and then went to DisneyQuest for the afternoon to check that out! We had a blast! :cool1:

If I were leaving that late in the day I would definitely go to one of the parks! I would just do an early check out, have the hotel hold my baggage then head out! This is especially important to me since we have to travel so far to get to WDW!

Nope. We always have a meal, do some shopping, or maybe do some swimming on our last day.

We always finish our park experience the night before with Spectro or Fantasmic. It would be too hard for us to leave the park in the middle of the day to go home. :( I did that once when I had a "Mom Only Trip" with friends and it was WAY too sad. :( :( :(

Yes, always! We've found that for some silly reason, we've had our best
luck with stuff like character meet n greets that last part of a day... we set up our flights out to leave in the late afternoon...

Considering the time you need to be at the airport, I wouldn't go to the parks. My typical last day fare is to go to DTD and do some last minute shopping and go over to Ghiradelli's for something sweet. Usually, I will go into the ESPN/sports store down there and wish I could afford some of the golf stuff (Mickey Golf Bag or clubs) and then sigh and say "Maybe some day!" But we really enjoy it down there. If you are lucky, they may even have some outside events going on. I have seen dancing, Radio Disney shows, and even booths where you can play Disney Trivia or even test your pitching arm.

Yes, we go to the parks till the end. This year my wife and I went to Epcot and had Dinner at Le Cellier and then went to catch bus. It was a great meal and we really relaxed. We can never get enough!!!! We are the last minute people you see at the Airport. :rotfl2: ::MinnieMo :bounce:

2 years ago when we were down, we did our last minute shopping at DTD. THis year I took the earliest flight down and the absolute latest home. We dont have to be at the airport until about 530, so we will most likely visit a park before coming home, and taking in all the extra magic
That is if my DH can drag me outta the parks in time for a flight home.. maybe Ill just stay there :rotfl:
