I have an internal clock that wakes me at 5 or 6 every day. Even the days I'd like to sleep in, I'm wide awake pretty early. I'm a slow mover (not a true morning person) so I need the extra time.
Every now and then on the weekends I can roll back over and go back to sleep. It's so nice.
I have to be at work at 5am M.W.F and 630am T. TH
I live about 25 miles from work and it takes about 25 minutes
So. I get up at 315 three days a week.
Three days a week I get up at 4am
The only day I sleep late is Sat (and thats only sleeping until 630 or 7)
If I dont keep some kind of routine, I cant sleep
I'm an early riser. I usually get up around 5:45 or so. Wake my daughter around 6 for school. I never need an alarm clock. My only problem is that I wake up around that time regardless of what time I go to bed, whether it be 10 pm or 1 am.
Love to get up early. I have to be at work at 8am. I get up every morning at 4:30am and don't have to leave til 7:40am. Gives me time to shower, get ready and sit with my coffee, check emails and watch the news. I drop oldest DD off at her friend's house at 6:25 and get youngest up about 6:45. I still always find myself rushing to get out of the house on time. On the weekends I like to be up by about 6am. Hate to sleep 1/2 the day away.
I hate rushing around but I hate getting up early even more I usually give myself about 45 minutes in the mornings and I can shower and get ready without rushing too much...as long as I don't get distracted...
Today is Sunday and I was up at 3:40 am. Okay, that's a bit early even for me but the ironic part is that I woke up from a nightmare that I was late to work because I overslept--which I've NEVER done. After that scare, I couldn't go back to sleep.
WOW that is early. I wish I could be like that. I did oversleep for work once - I didn't set my alarm properly and was awakened at 11:30 AM by my boss wondering where I was I now set at least 2 alarm clocks!
I even set an alarm on weekends when I don't really need to get up for anything. Last time I didn't set an alarm, I slept for over 15 hours!
I could sleep 15 hours no problem My problem is (or so my docs tell me) that I don't sleep soundly. I tend to wake up a lot at night so I never get really great sleep and I'm always tired.
DH's alarm goes off at 5:35am and I hit the snooze for him a few times and he rolls out of bed anywhere from 5:45am to 6:15am and I go back to sleep. He kisses me goodbye when he leaves anywhere from 6:15am to 6:30am.
My alarm goes off at 6:45am and I continue to hit the snooze button until around 7:15 - 7:25 ish. I shower, brush teeth, dry & straighten hair, dress and I am in the car by 7:45am and I am at work at 8:30am. I don't quite like mornings Then again I'm not really a night person either
I don't get up one second earlier than I have to. We have it down to a science in our house. DH is up at 5:15, starts the coffee, then jumps in the shower. I'm up at 5:25 and wake up DS at 5:40. DS is the first one out of the house at 6:10 and DH and I follow at 6:30.
I'm an early bird. Even if I don't have to get up early I like to. I feel like if I get up any later than 10am (and that's pushing it!) my day is gone. Usually I'm up by 7:30.
I'm crazy.
EDIT: oh wow. I'm editing b/c I didn't read how early some of you get up!!!!! Geez! Maybe you guys are the crazy ones.. Just kidding!!
