Do those of you who don't work full-time still look forward to the weekends?

When I gave up full-time work (a long time ago ;)!) after the birth of eldest DD, I missed that 'Friday' feeling because most days of the week seemed pretty much identical when I was at home with a baby.

When I returned to part-time work I regained a bit of the 'Friday' feeling at the weekend, but it's still not quite the same. School / college holidays are now more significant to me for a change of routine, but as DDs get older even that doesn't seem to make so much difference.

How about you?

I work shifts so I only get about 10 weekends a year off!! I do get the "friday feeling" after my second night shift though as that means I have 4 days off to look forward to!!:Pinkbounc

I work on saturdays so the friday feeling for me just means that i only have one more day of work left until i have a day off!

yes yes YES!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:
I love it when Friday comes around...no work til Monday and Mark to myself for a whole weekend!:):):)

OOhhh Yes

I get that Friday feeling even though I'm a housewife. With 2 DD's 13 & 11, its a wonderful feeling knowing you don't have to be up on a Saturday to make sandwiches or wash uniforms etc. Anyway now I've got that Summer Holiday feeling as the kids have now broken up for 7 weeks - Yippeeee (can someone please remind me of this in a few weeks time - LOL).
