Do you Get Points at MyPoints for Buying Disney Gift Cards?

I was looking at the disneystore.com to order tickets, and I couldn't find them. So, I was wondering, if I order gift cards through there, do I still get points through Mypoints. Also, can I buy park tickets with gift cards?

You might have better luck asking this question on the Rewards Boards because the people that hang out there know just about EVERYTHING that has to do with Disney & Rewarding.

As far as I know, MyPoints DOES NOT reward for purchasing gift cards at any merchant with the exception of giftcertificates.com. See their shopping guidelines for details.

May I suggest that you try shopping through eBates.com? They will give you 4% back in the form of a check to be paid out quarterly if you rebate balance is $5 or more. You can purchase GCs from most of their online merchants, Disney Store included, and get the rebate.

As far as using Disney GiftCards to purchase park passes, I would call my local Disney Store if I were you. There have been varying degrees of success in using GiftCards to purchase Park Hoppers and you do not want to be stuck with hundreds of dollars worth of GiftCards that you cannot use for the purpose you intended.
