You have not truly lived until your MIL has given you birth control pills in a shiny gift bag, under the Christmas tree......


.....yes, in happier times she was my supplier.....worked at an OB clinic and got them for free....but did she have to wrap them under the tree to open in front of DH's saintly great aunt and grandmother!

I wish my MIL believed in birth control and gave some to my SIL - maybe she would stop having kids she can't afford and her husband hits.

I'm not to be blamed for my pro-choice, democrat, Catholic self . I am the child of "liberal ex-hippies" and I can't help it. Mind you neither of my parents were hippies. Dad was in 'Nam. Dad's a liberal, but Mom certainly is not.

These people are stuck in 1962 and they are unable to come up with an independent thought or opinion based on fact. Instead they take bits and pieces of stuff they hear on the 700 club and add it to their minister's propaganda. They take issue with the fact that I don't.
