...the same Disney park first?

We always go to the Magic Kingdom on the first day and ride IASW. It was our very first park and ride that we did together - awh! :D

I'll have to see the next time I can go. :D

we also have a first day tradition. we go to the magic kingdom after checking into our room and eat lunch at liberty tree tavern. that night we go to the hoop dee doo. i'm not sure how far back we have done this but i know that our last two trips we did it and will do it again on our upcoming trip.

Our tradition is for the last day. Always make Pirates our last ride on each trip, followed by tossing a coin off the bridge on our way to main street.

I try to go to MK first... as for what I go on, it doesn't matter! I seem to stop at Casey's first, grab a hot dog and sit and stare at the castle for a while :) Not something I have to do, but it seems to be what I've done for a while :)

I don't really have a tradition. For some reason, though, I usually end up at Epcot World Showcase on my first day. That's probably because I usually stay at the Dolphin and the boat just makes going to Epcot so simple :)

:D

I'd like to follow the tradition I had with my family when I was younger. We always went to the Magic Kingdom first. I just don't feel like I'm in WDW until I'm at the Magic Kingdom. My girlfreind feels the same way, thankfully, and we've decided that when we go to WDW, whenever that may be, we'll go to the Magic Kingdom first.

Not a tradition as to which park first, but my first stop at the Magic Kingdom is to visit the Dumbo statue in the hub. I love that statue!

My family and I always go to EPCOT world showcase first. We always eat at the Akershus in Norway at 12:00.

No, but I do traditional smile bigger than I've ever smiled just as soon as I pull up to my resort, and I don't stop smiling until I leave, then I traditionally cry about 3/4 of the way back home and for a long time after that.:o

I like to go to animal kingdom the first day, as it is my favorite park, but I wouldn't be upset if it didn't work out that way, or someone else wanted to go somewhere else first. But we've done it the last 3 times, so I guess I consider it sort of a tradition.

tricia.

We follow a tradition, but not necessarily visiting a park first.
Our tradition is to check in of course and have dinner at a resort of some sort. Last trip it was the HOOP DEE DOO at Fort Wilderness, our next trip it will BOMA at the AKL. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I've never thought of it as a tradition, or for that matter even intentional, but we have always gone to Epcot first. We've done that since 1986 so I guess it's now a tradition.

My tradition is riding the train around the park first thing when I get to MK. And whenever I get to Tomorrowland, the TTA/Peoplemover is my first stop. I also prefer to park at the TTC rather than Epcot when going there. That way, I get to take the monorail tour around Future World before entering the park. So, I have a general theme of taking the "preview tour" before hitting the attractions.

I also try to do Spaceship Earth first in Epcot, and often last as well.

We check into the Boardwalk, drop our bags and if it's just the 2 or 4 of us we go to Beaches and Cream for lunch. Then we walk over to World Showcase.

If we're not too hungry, then we'll walk over to MGM grab a dog and enjoy the park.

Our tradition is to go to Epcot on our first day. We also end at Epcot and usually have an early lunch at Tepanyaki Dinning room before heading to the airport.
