Do you find yourself wanting to respond to certain threads

Funny you should ask.

Last post I read before I read this one was over on the Budget board. I was sooooo tempted to reply to the thread with some type of comment about how the OP's question & facts made me feel really inadequate --- but I decided not to.

I also do the "type out reply & delete" method. Just doing "back button" method still lets it chew away at my insides. Need to get the nasty comments out ya know. :rotfl2:

One of these days though, I'm sure I'll do a Fruedian slip & hit "submit" rather than "delete" without knowing it. :teeth:

I'm too curious to put people on my ignore list. :rotfl2:

I am the same way...in fact, I'll go out of my way to find posts by people I think are crazy--it makes the day go faster.

definitely. I am a Christian conservative, Republican. And thats not always the popular thing around here.

OMG- I can't even go to the Budget Board. I feel like such a loser pauper- who, EEK, has a little bit of credit card debt  :faint: ... :rotfl:

It's not fair to tempt us like this & then pull back the offer! :rotfl:

That's because it's something that I would do...like when some posters were "complaining" (kidding) about not getting PMs, even harrassing ones, so I sent some harrassing ones. Of course they weren't really bad ones--I'm not mean, just goofy and tacky. :)

Hey, your fiance never did do that poll... :rolleyes1 if you have a clue what I'm talking about... :teeth:

I hope the Tag Fairy saw that. :lmao:

:rotfl2: I don't think I have room for any more tags. I wonder if there is a tag limit.

For the most part I've learned, over the years here, that it's just not worth it to respond to hot topics (the President, Catholic threads, gay issues, abortion) but once in awhile I weaken and I post an opinion/reply/explanation but I almost always live to regret it!

I do lurk and read them though. It's like a traffic accident; I just have to look.

I use the "back button" method a lot, too. But sometimes I just can't help myself

I hear ya! The back button is my best friend somedays! Other days the imp in me just loves to press that enter key!!! :rolleyes1

I know! I harassed him about that the other day, and he basically danced around until I forced him to admit he was too chicken...

(Besides, he's never on here unless I tell him there's an argument about religion or politics happening... ;) )

ETA: He did give me his own "poll response"...it had something to do with Angelina Jolie and a mustang... :rolleyes1

I found out today I am even more of a loser than I thought because I like to eat at "blue collar type" resturants!! I didn't even know there was such a thing!!! Steak and shake and Sonic will never taste the same!!!

I feel the same way! I will sometimes look for closed threads & read them on purpose. There is something wrong with me.

I will type out a long response and then end up deleting it before hitting submit. Sometimes it just feels good to get it out without actually sending it!

Me too.

That would mean I'd have to stay sober...and I think we all know what the chances of that are. :teeth:

I have to ask you a question. Do you ever get tired of all the horrible teacher threads? Sometimes I feel like typing something that I can't so I don't. ;)

yes I admit lately a couple of threads had me shaking my head and quickly moving on before I start a word war. I try to avoid agruements if at all possible. I have a tendency to be outspoken and I often get into debates even though I am not fond of them. :confused3
