Do you find discounts that you once did at WDW?

I don't. Am I not looking or trying hard enough or are they just not available as much?

It used to be that I never paid anywhere near rack rate and declared I never would, but I'm embarrassed to admit I did just that last trip - just couldn't come up with anything to get the rate down.

The only discounts I have found lately are AP discounts, which were significant @ Contemporary. Otherwise...nada! Discount was $170.00 per night for standard wing vs $249.00...pretty good

I voted that they are harder to find. For a few years there the discounts seemed great ...

2001 - $179/night for Poly (AP)
2002 - $184/night for Poly (General)
2003 - FairyTale 7-for-4 Package
2004 - DreamMaker 5+2 Package

2005 - We aren't going this year so I haven't paid alot of attention to the discounts but I do know about the free Dining. I'd rather have a cheaper room rate!

While it's not as great as $49/nite at ASMu in 2002, we did manage to save a 20% off our room at CSR for later this year with AAA. I think the days of the awesome room only codes are over which of course is a mixed blessing overall. Keep your eyes open, you never know. Maggie

Not sure why this was moved since I'm not asking for codes or rates and just the experience of having to spend more money, but I guess you know best. I never come over to this board.
