Do you feel old?

I have been feeling really old lately

After meeting with an old friend this weekend and reminscing about people we knew and staying up so late talking and figuring out just how long it had been since we had seen each other. Then realizing that the was the latest I had been out in a very long time. It was sad! LOL

I am feeling my old age in my mid thirties. This stinks!

Don't start feeling old yet! Wait until the day you start finding out people you know are dying (from old age causes).

I am the same age. As long as you keep at a healthy weight and exercise you will feel young. Got any gray hair yet? I don't yet (knock on wood).

Well, yes I am. I just got news that my grandson got engaged to be married last night. She's a lovely girl and they are very well matched. I'm very happy for them, but feeling just a little bit older.

Old is when you CAN'T stay awake that long anymore!
Old is when you read about other peoples' childhood trips to DL that occurred well after you were a grown-up.
Old is when another grown-up says, "Elvis? The Beatles? Who are they?"
Old is when the kids you used to babysit bring their kids over to visit.
Old is when you're considering a ride at DL, wondering, "Is this going to hurt my back?"
Old is when you catch yourself saying the same phrases you remember hearing from your mom or grandma.
Old is when music from your high school and college years plays on the Oldies station.

Anyone else got any???

I'm getting up there 42 this year.

But i can still outrun outlast DD13 so there's still hope .

I was DISsing until 3:00am or so and still got up at 7:00 with no problem.

Only when I look in the mirror and see either a lack of hair where there was once a whole lot, or large sections of grey where there used to be only dark brown.
But I definately don't feel old. I am approaching 40, but I still feel like a teen. I guess working with college kids all the time helps keep you feeling young (not too mention that you are always hopping, thus not giving you time to feel old). I suppose some day I will calm down, but hopefully by then I will be in my 80's and ready for a break.

yep, I'm feeling very old this year. I had a total knee replacement a couple of weeks ago, my DS got engaged so I will become a MIL and I was offered the senior discount at a local store. Yep, I'm feeling very old.

well physically I know part of it is the fibromyalgia. That makes me feel old and creeky and part of it is being overweight which I am working on.


I dont know, I was just sitting there talking to all of these guys the other night and one of them was from a really remote town that I lived in for awhile as a child. He was all excited and said " When did you live there?" I said " I think I was in Kindergarten" and he said " Oh yeah, that was way before my time" I asked my friend how old that guy was and I could almost be his MOM!!!!

Yeah, that's the problem. I still feel like a kid (and I'm 44!), but then something slaps me in the face to remind me that I'm an adult!

Yes I do feel old, and I'm trying to deal with it. Actually I'm not sure "old" is so bad. Beats "dead" doesn't it?

I'm 46 and feel it. I think I started feeling old after I had my twins at 37 years old.It was a tough pregnancy and it took alot out of me. But I still think it could be alot worse.My 4 year old is adopted so at least I skipped that part.

Oh come on ya'll!!! How old is Mickey?? Bet he doesn't feel it though...cause you can only be "old" if you let your heart get that way!!
