I'm lucky. I have a great DH, a wonderful dd, my mom is healthy and able to live alone, I get to see my extended family pretty often, I like my job most of the time, I love my house. Asking for more than that would just be greedy!

I put "unlucky" but I should have put "middle of the road". I've had several unfortunate "unlucky" events in my life...beyond my control....but I've also been blessed in many ways.

I'd say unlucky.

Most of the good things in my life are due to hard work not luck. Most of the bad things though were just random chance. For example a snow skiing accident that left me a paraplegic, just one of those unlucky accidents. But working hard and becoming a computer programmer has nothing to do with luck.

LUCKY!

I have a job where I am terribly overpaid.

DH has a job where he isn't paid a lot, but has no stress and excellent benefits and can retire in _____ years (see my siggy for exact number).

We own a house and land and 2 cars.

We own DVC.

My DH pretty much lets me do/buy/go whatever or wherever I want.

My kids are in their 20's and not in jail.

I have had the opportunity to meet some important and influential people and have done many interesting things in my life.

We go to Disney 2 to 3 times per year.

I believe that I'm "blessed" but have fortunately made some good choices in life. I see my friends adult children and most of my in-laws that have a constant stream of unfortunate events happen to them. It always seems, though, that these events are due to poor life choices...such as drinking and driving, poor choices in friends, don't want to work, etc...

I feel I'm blessed but I also think we make our own "Luck".

For me, I was blessed with the gift of life. Life is full of ups and downs that I consider stepping stones, to help make me who I am, make choices, test my faith and keep me on the right path. Much of my luck is simply living life to the best of my ability and the way I deal with RL situations, which in turn brings me many blessings and good luck.
