I'm in the Secret Santa exchange between teachers, aides and office staff at our school but I still end up getting "little" gifts for some of the ones I'm closer to.

I will be giving gifts of fudge and cookies to the teachers on either side of my classroom and across the hall that help me out a lot. I also have a couple of good friends who are teacher aides and I always give a plate of cookies to the kitchen staff and our custodians.

Being a sub for 23 years at this school, you become friends with quite a few staff members!! :goodvibes

This year I made rice krispy treats for the people (15) I work with on a daily basis. Everyone else on the floor gets just a nice card.

At our dept party, we have a gift swap game that kinda eliminates the expectation of giving real/wrapped gifts to many people.

I made cookies for everyone (8 people in the whole office) and found cute Christmas tree Chinese takeout boxes for them with matching tissue paper (Container Store). That's what we all do in the office. This year the owner mentioned that he wished he had Louis Armstrong "What a Wonderful World" so I bought him that CD.

I have 2 jobs, 4 coworkers at one and 3 at the other. I bought each worker a mosiac picture frame and hurricane candle holder thing from pier 1 imports.

I made 20 dozen cookies and 2 pounds of fudge for the people in my office. And there are two other people that I will buy gifts for, but exchange them outside of the office.

Not usually, but this year we're doing a Secret Santa gift exchange at work and I got my boss. :goodvibes

We all exchange....there are 10 of us...We go to lunch and have a blast exchanging....We just give little trinket type gifts but it is something we all look forward to.

I exchange with two other girls at work. I gave them beer, a sleepy-time outfit, and 25.00 gift certificate to their favorite restaurant.

We have an official gift exchange at work, one of those games where everyone participating brings a gift, you pick numbers, first person picks a gift, next can steal that gift or pick a new one....

I participate in that because it is a lot of fun. I don't exchange with individuals at work outside of that though.

We do a $10 secret santa grab.
The childrens dept also has stockings hanging for each of us - 2 fulltimers, 8 parttimers and 2 volunteers. We all put things in the stockings. We can put a little in a few and alot in the others - depends who your favorites are.

We draw names in my office. There are 12 of us.
Then my partner and I exchange gifts. And we (the two of us) buy for our two doctors. And I buy for my nurse.
We also buy something for both OB depts where we deliver.

I buy something for the two part-time staff who work for me, the chair & coordinator of our department, and our student employee. This year, I gave them all a handpainted ornament with their name and the year--my cousin is an artist and does such a fabulous job, I order them from her. Also some other little goodies.

We share an office with another dept. I give a gift to the guy who is my counterpart over there--he's one of my very favorite people. And I give his part-timers and student employees bags with candy, cookies, and fudge.

My faculty are very good to me and I've already received some really nice gifts from some of them.

I exchange with a few people at work, just small token gifts. I have a couple of ladies at work that I have become pretty good friends with so I get them something nicer though.
