Do you ever reconfirm your dinner rezzies?

I made all of our rezzies at the 180 + 10 mark. Of course that was so long ago... am I the only one who wants to call and reconfirm them???? :sad2:

I made my reservations at the 180 day mark and I called last week to confirm them...just to be safe. :)

I have never done this, but I think I will for this trip. I just want to be 100% sure. :wizard:

I have never done this, but last time a couple of my ressies were not found, even with my confirm number...so I guess it's a good idea!

I've never reconfirmed and have never had a problem. One time they did need to find us by the rezzie number because our name was mis-spelled.

I made ours at the 180 day mark back in May. I've called a couple of times since to check on them. There is nothing wrong with that!

I always confirm once if not twice. This is because I am a worrier not becuase I have had a problem. I call 180 + and for some reason think they may get lost in the mean time. I have never had a problem but just feel better if I know everything is like I want it.

I never did until one day I walked into Narcoosees and was told we didn't have a reservation, when i very well knew that i did, i mean, I had the confirmation number and all.

It was a simple mistake really. I had originally booked LTT for dinner but changed it to Narcoosees a few months later. Unfortuantely, the LTT was never canceled, so my Narcoosees ressie was canceled in the system at some point close to our trip.

I hate bugging CM's unecessarily, but after that, I learned that if I ever make a change to my schedule, I should call more than once to make sure that its been changed correctly in the system.

I always call to check - especially if I make a lot of changes to my ressies (as is the situation for this trip.)

i always call to confirm our ADRs a couple of days before we leave from home - that way, if there's any problem (hopefully never!) it could be fixed before we arrive in disney

and i always carry the confirmation #s with me in the parks, too!

I never have. I always carry a print out with all of my ADRs and confirmation numbers. However on our next trip we are doing the Deluxe DDP and after reading AbbyPan's post I think I'll confirm them since we have so many.

A cautionary tale:

I never confirmed my ADRs and had never had a problem until now. I am so angry right now I want to throttle someone. We are leaving for WDW on October 5 and I made our dining 180 days out so thought we were fine and even got CRT for breakfast one of our days.

On October 7, we have (or had I should say) the Garden Grill for lunch. We were so excited about this since we haven't actually seen Mickey Mouse in our last two visits with our girls aged 3 and 5.

Today, I got the refurbishment list in my Mousesavers newsletter only to read that the Garden Grill will no longer be serving lunch after October 5th. I had my husband call WDW DINE right away only to find out that it's true. So, our reservation is non-existent - even though I had a confirmation number and nobody thought to let us know. We would have shown up for our lunch all excited only to find out that it's closed for lunch.

Now I'm scrambling to find something else. I think Chef Mickeys is the only other one that Mickey is guaranteed to be at but I'm afraid to take my 3-year old there. She gets overwhelmed with a lot going on and has to put her head down to deal with all the noise and confusion - and I've heard that Chef Mickey's is very busy and chaotic.

Any suggestions?

So, learn from my mistake and always confirm your ressies - I will from now on.

Suzanne

I have never confirmed a non-F&WF reservation. We've only had one issue, at Coral Reef three years ago, and they got us a table anyway.

I confirm once, and only once..right before I go.The more they open up your ressies to look at them the bigger chance of something getting messed up.Once I have re-confirmed i make sure i have all my Conf# with me .
