Do you ever misspell?

Karel, The lack of punctuation in one's sentences <i>can </i>be a real hoot! The simple omission of a <b>comma</b> over, and over, and over again is....well, it's kind of funny under certain circumstances.

If this were radio, we wouldn't have to worry about spelling, but what the heck, I don't worry about it that much any how. Sometimes my fingers work faster than my brain, sometimes I proof read, most of the time I don't, then I find out later that I missspelled a word. No biggy, I just sit back, and laugh at myself!!!

Actually one of the things I have always been very aware of is the proper punctuation, I know that a sentence without commas or periods sounds like a horrible lonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg sentence who confuses the heck out of people talking about different things, that is something that is tought specially in Spanish because on top of that we also have accents to worry about , one word without an accent sounds completely different than with and it could mean something totally different.

I'll make a promise - if you don't laugh at my math skills, I won't laugh at your English skills.

Did anyone tell you this is not my strong point either?? ROFL. When Math homework comes home with oldest DD if she needs help I tell her to go to DH! ROFL. Besides that I explain the concepts differently and dd gets confused, I teach her how I know ( we did it differently in Spain ) and then she gets confused so I let DH handle math!

I rarely misspell (are there 2 S's in that?? ) but only because I'm so neurotic...I "preview reply", check my post for spelling, and then "submit reply", but they still get past me. The older I get, the worse I get. My kids are very bright, but bad spellers (they must get that from DH ).

The only time bad spelling really bothers me is when I get a notice home from the school with misspelled words.

But on a BB? Who gives a "shot".

BTW, I so wish I could speak even ONE other language...still would like to learn Italian in my old age.

Not only do I misspell - I also pronounce words incorrectly!

And those people who like to criticize and critique the actions of everyone else - well..... never mind......
