There is a woman in our bell choir that I just want to bop over the head and tell her "you don't know EVERYTHING"! Last year when our district wanted to eliminate the orchestra program she kept going on and on about how good they are and how popular the program was. I finally had to speak up and tell her they are NOT good, they in fact are HORRIBLE and that 100 kids 4th-12th grade is NOT a lot of kids. There are more kids in the jr high bands then that. I love orchestra, I play the violin, I know what I am talking about.
Then last week a woman in our bell choir fell on the stairs going into the church. She hit her cheek and banged up her hand pretty badly. I was about 90% sure she had broken a bone in her hand. Well, this lady pipes up-she can move her hand, it isn't broken. Well, just because you can move your hand doesn't mean it isn't broken. I have a degree in athletic training, I have seen plenty of broken bones to be pretty sure that was what was wrong. Sure enough, she has a broken hand. Oh, and you DON'T put HEAT on a fresh injury.
