Do you ever get your waitlist vacation

I've never gotten a waitlist before. I booked a week in late August hoping for a studio at BCV but could only get the last 4 nights and settled for the first 3 nights at SSR and waitlisted them for BCV. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I logged into the DVC site to get my reservation number and found my waitlist had come through!!

We've gotten every waitlist we've ever placed with the exception of June in HHI. My only disclaimer is that all those WL requests were in early - 6 months at the latest and some as soon as the 7 month window opened. But we've gotten BCV or BWV for spring break and food and wine multiple years running.

I've wait listed 5 times and got it once. Right now, I'm currently wait listed for ONE night at the BCV and I was hopeful at the beginning. AFter all, it was just one night. Now that we're 3 months out, I'm doubtful. But it is F&W time. We'll be there anyway, we'll hysr have to move from one type of 2BR to another.

That said, AKL 2 bedrooms I've seen be available for quite some time into the 7 month window. Depending on time of year of course.
