I have purchased many items online before, but now I'm beginning to enjoy it. So much so in fact, that I prefer it to going to the store. I think it's the thrill of finding a coupon or promo code, being able to comparison shop, read product reviews, etc. I think I will only buy clothes and groceries in store from now on, everything else will be online.

Did you convert from in-store to online?
I wonder what impact the increase in online shopping will have on stores with real estate. It can't be a good sign for independently owned shops....

Outside of food and clothes, I do about 90% of my shopping online now. It's just too easy, and you can read reviews for the things you purchase to make an educated decision. Amazon almost always has free shipping, and I *love when things are shipped free!

I LOVE shopping online! My favorite is amazon, followed by kohls and then aeropostale.

I enjoy shopping online. The only items I actually prefer to go to the store for are groceries, clothes, and bath gel and stuff, since I like to know how the stuff smells before I buy it.

I love shopping online. Much prefer that to going to the stores! Plus, when you shop through the rewards sites, you get cash back. Can't do that in the stores!! There's more variety, and I can shop 8 stores in 20 minutes, in my jammies!!

That's my next venture... I have to look into that!

I love shopping online. I got some great deals. I can earn points to for more gift cards.

I well on my way free hotel room, restaurant gift cards, and gas cards for Labor Day weekend trip to US to see Harry Potter park.

woot.com , buy.com is my favorite sites to buy stuff from.

I have bought 6 mp3players off of woot.com .

I absolutely love shopping online. I'd say I've done 90% of my Christmas shopping in my jammies! Like the OP, I love to price compare, read reviews, look for coupons and rebates! The convenience is so addicting. No driving store to store, dealing with crowds, parking, etc. I don't mind waiting for it to be delivered either.

I too, do most of my shopping online, it lets me price compare easily and it's fun. I love woot.com too.. especially woot off days!

I'm home during the week, so I look forward to receiving my packages. I run to the front door when I hear the UPS truck pull up.

Love it! I do most of my shopping online, also. Amazon is my best friend! I also like Barnes & Noble- when I buy books I comparision shop! B&N was cheaper last time!

I rarely go shopping at the malls anymore too much hassle. I love shopping online! and with free shipping you can't beat it. I still go to the grocery store and Kohls for their in-store sales.

my newest favorite site is alice.com

Shopping online is the best. I have don't about 95% of my Christmas shopping online and have gotten a much better deal that it I purchased the same thing at the stores. I shop online for everything except some of my kids clothes because they like to try them on and food. When I go to the mall and look at the prices I know I can find it somewhere much cheaper and I usually do.
I have so many people ask me how do I get such great prices on things and I tell them online. I do have to look around to may different web site but I enjoy doing it so it is no big deal. I get I thrill out of the hunt.

Me too! I also do clothes - once you know your size at a store, it is easy to shop online. I love the comparison shopping (check out http://www.consumersearch.com/) coupons and getting money back from reward sites. Electronics, books, DVDs, Cds - name it, I've bought it. And if you count chocolate, nutrition bars and tea, I even do groceries!

The OP said, she won't do clothes shopping online, but sign-up on your favorite stores web pages. They are always sending out promotional codes and coupons to use in the stores. I rarely shop without a coupon at a store. When I am checking out at a clothes store, people are always asking me, where I got the coupon.

I love the Finish Line shoe store. I will go to the store, try on the shoe, then go home, order the shoe, get at least 20% off and still get free shipping.

The only thing I really enjoy shopping for in real life is books. Nothing beats walking into a brick and mortar bookstore to browse. Other than that, I'll do everything I can online because I hate shopping in general. We live about 45min from anywhere worth shopping (other than the grocery) and the drive alone is reason enough for me to prefer buying online!

I have do about 90% of my shopping online. Love that I don't have to go out and hunt for the bargins. BUT today when the mail lady dropped off a couple of packages she said " That I need to quit shopping online as she is getting tired of coming up our driveway to deliver." WTH! That is your job to deliver the mail. Guess I need to buy more online.

Count me in :thumbsup2
I love shopping on line. Have done 100% of my Christmas shopping on line so far.
Free shipping is the best :goodvibes. It saves you from having to go out in the cold and endulges you by delivering your package to your doorstep.
I think the only thing I have to go out for are some Kohls gift certificates. But I'm thinking now, that I may be able to get them on line at the Kohls site. Will have to check.

Karen :)

ETA: I think I'm becoming addicted. I just bought sheets on overstock.com, free shipping of course, and I got a good deal on a winter coat on Lands End earlier. I better go to bed before I spend anymore money sittng here in my pjs.

The rewards thing is great, I found out about bingcash from the budget board. I have $176 in my account already, just from my black friday purchases!!!

I alos love no 8% sales tax and free shipping. I bought Uggs from CA cheaper than here in GA.

Gotta have free shipping.

No tax is good. But we are supposed to declare it on the tax form, don't forget.
