Do you drink the milk after eating your cereal?

OK, time for a silly post..LOL..

Me, no.. I never have. I am picky about my milk, and after the cereal has been in it, its tainted IMO... I try to use less so as to not waste..

Now DH...OH yeah..he has not problem slurping it right down..LOL

So how about everyone else?

I don't eat cereal with milk. Usually have oatmeal if I have any kind of cereal for breakfast.

I find it disgusting. Long ago, my parents got tired of me wasting it. That is when I began eating my cereal dry.

I can't stand milk anyway so it wasn't a loss to be mourned.

The reason I don't like milk is due to it's temperature change. And I don't like it enough to ice it. Cereal milk----ewwwww....way too warm to drink.

YES.

When cereal is "fortified" with vitamins and minerals, the vitamins are literally sprayed on the cereal in a coating which washes off in the milk. So the only way to get all those vitamins and minerals is to drink the milk.

I also let my two dogs share the eensy bit left in the bottom.

My milk HAS to be ICY cold..if I pour a glass from the fridge, it has to be drunk with 5min. Any longer and it gets warm..and NASTY..

This is the reason I do not order milk at restaurants.

No way! I have to watch my daughter do it every morning and it is so gross.

Of course, I hardly use any milk with my Shreddies. I have maybe 2Tbsp of milk with my 1/2 cup in the morning. I get all the pieces wet and then eat it as quickly as I can. If the cereal gets uncrunchy at all I can't eat it. It's weird and I admit it but soggy cereal grosses me out LOL

I use just enough milk so there is only a small bit (not enough to drink) left in the bottom of the bowl. My collies then get to lick the bowl, so no wasted milk.

My daughter used to dunk her Cheezies in her milk and then drink the milk.

Same here! YUMMY!!!! But I also let the cats drink the small bit that I leave at the bottom!

No, I do not drink the milk, and I do not view it as being wasteful. I used it to eat my cereal and enjoyed it....it served its purpose.

My dh and children drink the milk after they eat their cereal. They love it!

If I finish my cereal (most of the time), then I will drink it. Unless there are crumbs left. Then I can't.

Nope. I've always thought it was kind of yucky for drinking.

But I also don't like my cereal soggy at all - so I start off with a small bowl of cereal and not much milk to begin with, then when I've finished that, add a little more cereal to the leftover milk. That way I use up a bit more and don't feel like I waste too much.

Yes, absolutely! And sometimes if I have "overmilked" my cereal I just add more cereal to it and have another bowl!!!

No. I use the milk as a way to get the cereal wet. I dump it after I'm done. I have not had a glass of milk in over 30 years.
