Do you collect a memory of each trip?
Sandy and I try and get something from each trip to be a Magical Memory and we where wondering if any of you do the same? It is not always big or rare but it has a special thing about it that brings back memories of that trip...

This time it was a small clay Giraffe that was hand painted from the AKL…

How about you? What do you bring home with you?

photos...and I collect Mickey Figurines...I have a ton of them, so I usually keep my eyes out for one while I am there.

We have started getting a special pin that commerates something unique to the trip. I'm mounting them in a shadow box.

Photos for sure - I do a scrapbook of each trip. Also any special pins, of which we got a lot this trip.

we usually try to buy a xmas ornament (dated) each trip we take. Not just Disney trips, but all trips.

Yep! Me, too

And now we have to put up 2 big trees and LOTS of small ones every year and we still don't accomodate all the ornaments! But it's fun at Christmas to open up the boxes, pull out each ornament, and remember where/when/why we got it...and tell the stories to friends and family

We buy a photo album and a Christmas ornament each year. I also buy myself a charm for my bracelet every year.

When we go to WDW I enjoy buying different things that have the date on them such as mugs, photo album, license plate, pens, shirts and etc.

I have made framed collages w/ pins, photos, magnets, postcards and etc for remembering different firsts. These firsts are the first year going to WDW married (25th anniversary celebration at WDW), first year taking DD#1 (millinium celebration at WDW), and this year will be for first year taking DD#2 (magical gatherings). These collages are very precious to me and I will continue making them as long as we have "firsts".

Before we got our DVC we would stay at a different resort and get a pin and a coffee cup from that resort. Now we try for pins with dates, like the Flower and Garden Festival or the Food & Wine Fest. ( my personal fav)
