This may be a really dumb questions, but do you carry a purse, messenger bag, wristlet, wallet, anything while on the ship.

What do I need to carry with me?

Thanks!

I have a purse that I take to dinner. I stick my camera in there, as well as a pad & pen (to take pictures of the food and write down what we get).

The only time I carry a purse is when I go to eat. I need to have my reading glasses to be able to read the menu. I have a tiny purse that I carry for that. Other than that, I put my room key on a lanyard, and any other small items I may need in my pockets. It's one of the perks of a cruise, to be able to go around & not shlep a purse while on the ship.

DH occasionally carries his pocket-size camera -- in his pocket. He also carries our KTTW cards -- in his shirt pocket. So no, I don't carry a purse.

I wear a ScotteVest when I travel so I DON'T have to carry a purse. This is especially useful when flying, as everything is in the vest. I just take it off, let it go thru security scanner, then put it back on. I am not bringing any purse other than my Dooney & Burke wristlet that my son gave me for Christmas. I will only carry that to meals. Otherwise, I'm wearing that vest!

No purse here. We use lanyards for the KTTW card and I carry my camera or put it in DH's pocket.

Yes I do. Depending on the time of day, I have either a beach bag or a small purse. I carry the following in it:

small container of sun screen
cell phone (since I don't wear a watch)
KTTW cards
camera
Navigator
Nook

I just used my lanyard to carry my KTW card and carried my camera in a case with a shoulder strap. I did make each of my children (ages 9 and 13) carry a small backpack with them wherever they went. In it they carried their own authograph book, pen, camera, and lanyard with their KTW card. I knew I couldn't keep up with everyones stuff so we came up with the above system for everyone to be responsible for their own belongings.

On the ship, I always carry my camera in it's case. I use it to hold Tylenol, Bonine, reading glasses, pen, & notes. The only time I use a bag is for the pool to hold reading sunglasses, nook, i-pod and lotion.

I carried a small backpack. I did have a toddler though, so it held a sippy cup, some diapers, my camera, etc.

I really enjoyed not needing a purse. I just kept my key card in a pocket and DH carried the camera. It's so nice to not have to carry ID and money around on a trip. :)

The word "wristlet" was not in my vocabulary until we went on a cruise, but I did buy one for our trip and found it very useful.

I needed to keep the wave phone with me since our group was in three cabins, and I also like to keep a camera with me, and I often have no pockets available, so it was a good size to carry just what I needed.

I bought two of their jackets and then my wife made me buy her one. I can't imagine what life was like before them.

beach/pool bag during the day and wristlet or small purse at night depending on what matches what I am wearing..

I will carry a mesh bag or a small purse. I can't wear a jacket since I get very hot. I put my KTTC card in a lanyard and use the bag for glasses, camera, walkie-talkie, medicine, and cooling spray.:yay:

Tell me about cooling spray. Interesting.

Just off the 10 MR and didn't carry a purse on ship. Used my pockets. Except for formal dinners. Not much that you really need to carry around ship. Love it.

I wish I didn't have to, but I need to carry my 2 epi-pens, as well as my daughter's 2 epi-pens.

During the day I wear my KTTW on a lanyard. I carry a small wristlet to dinner with the KTTW card, Kleenex, camera, Dramamine

On my last cruise, I had a small drawstring backpack type bag (cant remember the name) that I used on the ship. It worked well to put in my Nook, Navigator, Sudoku book, pencil bag, and camera.

I think I may use this bag again to hold my binoculars when I am in Alaska. The last time I was in Alaska, you always had to carry the binoculars in case the naturalist came on the intercom to announce a wildlife sighting. Once it was announced that a pool of Orcas was feeding off the left of the ship and the whole dining room ran out.
