Just wondering if you call to confirm your reservations and how close to your trip do you?Do you just call the same number that you make the reservations with?I had problems last year during free dining with my reservations being on the wrong nights-chef mickeys was wrong and the fantasmic package at mm was all booked for the same night as Le cellier somehow. They accomadated us except that there was no tickets left for fantasmic seating. My travel agent booked it all for me last time and this time I did it myself so I don't know if somehow she messed up the dates when booking or they did.

This is what I do, I call and make my ADRs

The next day I call back and confirm with the confirmation numbers to make sure everything is how I want it

Never had a problem knock on wood

I have never called to confirm and have never had a problem in 15 years of making ADRs... But if you are feeling uneasy about it - it couldn't hurt to pick up the phone and call to check.

I'm not going at a super busy time, but I did call about a week after making them (so 170 days out :) )and went thru them all. Found one that had the wrong phone number on it, so I got that fixed. I ALWAYS confirm ressies, I'm darn near OCD about them. I know that it's someone typing info into a computer and it's EASY to hit the wrong number for a date or time..

I just called 2 days ago to confirm. I had a snail for a CM the other day, and I just knew she would get one wrong. Suprisingly, she didn't. I'm still 100 days out, and I'll probably call again in a couple of months.

I've never called to confirm mine. I double-check them while I'm still on the phone making the reservations. I always take my confirmation #s with me to the restaurants just in case.

Definetly call to confirm...... I just called last night to make some changes and they had me scheduled for Le Cellier for 2 nights....one of the nights was suppose to be for Coral Reef..... so they do mess up. Better to call and confirm than to have problems once you get there.

:thumbsup2 I'm calling to confirm this year as last year they didn't have us down for Crystal Palace when we arrived for dinner. I had my confirmation # with me and they did seat us - but now I know - better safe than sorry!

I never call to confirm and I have never had a problem.
I feel that everytime someone opens my reservation is another chance to make an error. So to me, calling increases the chance that something could go wrong.

I always call the next day to check and I bring my confirmation numbers with me in case there is a problem when I get to the restaurant. I didn't get up at 6:45 on a Saturday 180 days out for nothin'!

If it's only 1 ADR I don't confirm I just bring the number with me. If it's a lot I call and confirm a month or so after I made it then again a week or two before just to be sure. I get paranoid and if I do make an ADR it's b/c we REALLY want to eat there. I'd hate to get turned away.

I already caught a few problems without even calling to confirm (other CMs mentioning them or questioning them when making different reservations.)

I hope we won't have problems, but I realize it's probably too late now anyway.... when we check in, we'll print out our itinerary.

You really need to confirm all your ADR's once you arrive at your resort. You can confirm them if you like before you get there, but it's more important to do it after you've arrived at the resort.

Just bring along all your confirmation #'s with you, then call the Dining number sometime after you check in on the first day. Also make sure to bring your confirmation # with you to each restaurant, just in case they say they don't see it. You may also want to note the date you originally made the ADR's, just in case the restaurant says you made them too late to get decent seating. Those restaurants are not reliable in their ADR record-keeping. I've learned this the hard way.
