Do you call Socks underwear or something else?

I call them underwear!

You usually always find them in the underwear section of any store that sells them here, and they go in the underwear drawer at home too!

The same goes for stockings, nylons or tights too.

I just call them socks. I do not put them in the same drawer as my knickers. My children have a long top drawer and their socks share the same space as their underwear. Some department stores sell these items in the same area. Others sell them as accessories sometimes by purses and belts. I'm sure that others have found them in different areas.

ETA: in most of my stores - Kohl's, target, Macy's, Dillard's - the socks are in a completely different place adn in some cases floor than the underwear - they are always with the purses, scarves, & other accessories

I consider undergarments to be items that go under clothes and socks aren't technically under my clothes. And since shoes aren't considered a garment..well then.

That being said--in most stores--they sell the stockings and socks near the panties--so I guess they are truly indeed an undergarment.

I call socks...socks, but I too consider them a part of the "underwear" family of garments since my pants almost always cover them up as do my shoes. They are kept in the same drawer as underwear, hosiery, slips, and bras.

I call them socks. Sock, stockings, nylons or tights are considered FOOTWEAR.

Mittens & gloves are handwear.

Bikinis, briefs, low-rise or high-rise undies or French cut undies & thongs are Underwear.

Bras & camisoles & slips are lingerie.

Winter scarves & hats are winter headgear
