Do you buy your pets Christmas/Hanukkah presents?

I do. Mickey is getting a new collar and food/water bowls. I can't wait. Plus he gets treats and some other little stuff...furry mice, etc. :paw:

Anyone else or am I the only crazy?

Not usually but dd saw a doggy stocking at Target last night that was filled with toys and bones. I'm sure she'll nag me incessantly until we get one for the puppy for Christmas this year. :teeth:

I usually just fill their stockings with treats and new toys.

This year they need new dishes so I will get them for Christmas.

I get my cats gifts. Ally is getting a new bed (hopefully, this will encourage her to sleep on the floor instead of permanently attached to me). Simba and Paddles are getting new toys....new, quiet toys they can bat around at all hours of the day or night. :)

2 years ago, we were all in my IL's family room opening up presents. Their Keeshound Nissa was just sitting under the tree.

Finally, all the presents are opened, except one. The one that Nissa was sitting so patiently next to. It was her Christmas rawhide!

Yes, we do--treats, new collars, toys.

And they all have tags on their gifts that say they come from Santa Paws. :crazy2: :)

every year.
Jazzy is VERY good at opening presents.
we'll get her a couple new toys (which she'll destroy in under 3 hours)...

I think it's more fun to time her destruction of it then watch her open it. heheheh

No, but Missy gets extra treats on Christmas Eve and Day. She's likes those better than anything else I could give her anyway!

YEP!!

For Christmas, we send gifts to my parent's dog and my DB and SIL's 2 dogs and 2 cats...and they send gifts to our three dogs.

We bought one big stocking that the dogs share...and we fill it with treats.

Last year, after "opening" the stocking, I gave everyone ONE treat...well, Daisy (in the middle in my siggie pic) stole Buddy's treat (Buddy's in the first pic). Poor Buddy went over to the stocking and proceeded to pull another treat out for himself...I thought it was funny that he knew they were in there...and only pulled out one!! :teeth:

Our dog always gets a gift from Santa because he is a very good boy. He doesn't like to play with toys, so it is always treats. My DD always wonders why Santa also leaves a gift for my parents dog who is NOT a good boy. :confused3

Ok...i'm completely nuts...Not only do they get presents, but I bake them "cookies" when I'm done baking the regular christmas cookies. I have to admit I was worse before I had my son....but they are still spoiled..lol

Dash will have a few presents under the tree, mostly chew toys and rawhides I imagine. DD and I went out last weekend and bought a new ornament for the tree to put his picture in, she also got an ornament with a puppy sitting in a stocking and had his name added to it... that one will go on her small tree in her bedroom. Sshhhh, we also got the same thing for my nephew's new puppy.

Having Dash's ornament for the tree will make it nice for decorating it... every year the girls would argue over who's turn it was to put up Kramer's ornament (we had to give him away 10 years ago, but he's still a big part of the family and on the tree every year), so this year they can each do one.

We also put up Kramer's stocking each year and this year we can add one for Dash. :paw:
