We are planning opur next trip- and I have been enviously watching everyone get incredible rates- So, for our next trip I was hoping for some great rates- do I book into Riverside now and wait for some codes to come up and change if I get a good rate?

yes, book while you can get what you want. that is what i did for my trip in june. i have used the current code while waiting for the AP rates for june to come out.:p

I always book what I can afford in case a code does not come out. Then, I can change to a better room if they are available, and at the very least I will save money on my existing reservation.

I book down and then when the codes come out, I upgrade or I might stay where I am.

I book what I know I can afford and don't count on a code to come out. If a code does come out then that's great but if it doesn't I won't be forced to rebook at a different resort.

We book what we'd be comfortable paying for if discounts don't come out. Lately, though, we've been waiting for discounts before we book. :)
