I am toying with a land/sea trip for next year. I have always booked my WDW trips seperately and saved quite a bit. Does this work with the cruise as well?

from what i have read and done we always book seperate also can save a couple of bucks peter

I am wondering the same thing! Is there anyone who has any reasons to book the package?? It would sure make it easier to check prices on the cruise portion with it seperated.

The only reason I can think of to book together is sheer convenience!

with Dreams for our 3 day Wonder cruise and then 8 days at Port Orleans Riverside. It actually was a significant savings for us over the package, and it allowed us to tailor the trip the way we wanted and to stay at the resort of our choice. (There were five of us). We did use DCL ground transportation to the ship from the airport, and from the ship to the resort. We then used Tiffany Town car from the resort to the airport after our WDW stay (only $45). We booked our own airfare as I could search for bargains and book a non-stop flight (which DCL doesn't always give you). My airfare from Boston ended up costing only $158pp all taxes, etc. included. Dreams booked all of our priority seating and gave us a personal itinerary for the entire trip based on what we wanted to see and do. It was FANTASTIC working with them!
